"There was no running water in the entire hotel. We were told there was a water outage in the entire neighborhood. You would expect that a hotel such as Holiday Inn would have a reserve tank especially since water outages are not a novelty in Johannesburg. We were told the hotel was providing complementary drinking water in our rooms and would also provide water for baths. In a family room for 4, there were two 330ml water bottles. Reception wasnt picking up calls from rooms. Overall, not what I expected from the hotel. I hope this was a one off and that they would normally handle all of this better. "

"Wonderful and a little quirky place. Nice rooftop bar with dipping pool. Spacious room with kitchen. Decent breakfast next door at The Wes. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if I’m fortunate enough to come back to Cape Town. I absolutely loved it. The only little minus was the large shower head. I think that with the water pressure, a handheld shower head would be better. "

"Great hotel in Waterfront. Nice rooftop bar. Nespresso maker in the room. Expensive breakfast not worth the price though. And close to a really nice restaurant Den Aker. It was so nice so we ate there twice."

"Blev hänvisad till fel apartment. Lyckligt att den rättte hyresgästen accepterade att bli tilldelad en annan, vilket annars hade betytt att vi fått packa ihop och flytta till ett annat rum. Däremot faceigenkänning för att komma åt hissarna fungerade aldrig, trots flera omfotograferingar."

"Convenient airport hotel in direct connection to the gates. Perfect for one night stay in between flights. "

"This hotel has ambitions to be a luxury hotel. It probably has been. But now the furniture and textiles are worn out, the flowers indoors has seen its best days, the supply in the small bar in the lobby is very bad. Birds were flying indoors eating from the buffe but no one seemed to bother. The pool had green algiers. When I checked in at 4.30 pm (3 pm is the check in time) the room wasn't available. Suddenly they found a room but in a lower standard and gave it to me. But the staff in at the reception was very courtesy. "
