“Such an excellent idea to change this building for guest to use. I love the sea, so perfect spot for us. Everything was super clean, comfortable and welcoming. I personally don't mind the noise of traffic but it may bother others as the property is directly on the road. The steps to the entrance are very steep. If you have a big dog make sure he/she is under control prior to opening the door. You may get to the beach quicker than expected. Loved the area for years, would deffo stay here again.”

“Lovely, relaxing stay at The Gables. A great property, all we'd hoped for and more. Right next to the beach, fully enclosed gardens so perfect for our dog, the interior is done to a very high standard and super comfortable! Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend. Thank you 😊 ”

“Excellent stay - the house is very spacious with plenty of living space including a conservatory with amazing views and games room. also a very short walk to the beach. ”

“We stayed here as a family of 19 for 2 nights over New Year ranging from age 5-70. It was good as we all had our own individual cottages with kitchens, living rooms and bathroom which gave us our own space but the communal area is the Hall was being enough when we wanted to be together. Only issue was the gas heaters and log burners not working properly in a couple of cottages but electric heaters were available and there is central heating in two of the cottages. “A beautiful house in an idyllic location. Wonderful views from a totally secluded garden over the roof tops to the sea.Everything we could need had been thought of and a very nice ‘goodie box’ on arrival.Access from the car parking area to the back door and from there down to the lower garden levels not easy for one with limited mobility, no problem for able bodied though.The garden room was a delightful space.Great access to the station in the village with trains right through from Birmingham...

“Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Could do with a proper electric one to be honest. Bathroom bin not emptied from previous occupier. No wifi and phone signal not great. Not always a...

“Very convenient for groceries - Spar just around the corner. Numerous eating places all within close proximity. We had no trouble parking, but it is first come first served. Quiet area. Great for a good nights sleep.”

“Lovely week in this house. We were 3 families. Made use of the 2 car park passes and were able to park the other car in the road alongside the car park. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining room which is a nice communal area. Showers were really powerful. Location is great for train station and walking down to the main area. Recommend the Indian restaurant and Dovey Inn.”

“This is a lovely place to stay, a hidden gem. My only comment would be that we did object to some banging the door and trying to get in at 8:30 this morning. Then as we wouod packing up to leave at around half 10, the same bloke was sat leaning against the front window. Told us he was waiting to clean the place! Him aside we enjoyed our stay”

“This was just what we wanted. Peaceful, warm, well equipped and a stunning view of the sea. Comfortable beds, bathroom with a rain head shower, kitchen with EVERYTHING you need, large TV and comfortable reclining leather sofas and dining table upstairs. LOVELY owners who were super welcoming! Enjoyed the horses and sheep! We'll be back!! ”

“Sehr schönes, großes Haus mit großem Garten und Zugang zum Mawddach ("a heck of a view"). Wir hatten eine super Zeit, in der nahen Umgebung gibt es einige sehr schöne Wanderungen und fantastische Strände. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, es ist ein altes Haus, aber die Technik (WLAN, Heizung, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, etc.) ist top modern.Übergaben und Kommunikation waren unkompliziert, der Gastgeber war super nett und aufmerksam, so wie praktisch alle, die wir dort getroffen...
