I didnt want to have to rent a car so that was one reason for the choise of this villa, besides the possibility to house nine and the poolarea. Im very pleased with the villa, the village of Camucia and the small Town Cortona nearby. Supermarket Coop is walkingdistance, plenty of shops and bakery nearby. “We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Our Villa had an old world charm that was just what we wanted while staying in Tuscany! The view was AMAZING! Our host was so responsive and gave us a private tour of his Cortona. We took advantage of the hot tub and the private bath that was set up with candles and champagne! “Great villa, stunning views with peace, quiet and serenity. 5 older adults with our twenty something kids. We had a blast and so did they. Lounging at the pool, walks into Cortona (30 min), amazing restaurants/food. Well equipped villa with everything you need. We had a small issue with AC that got fixed very quickly. “Das Grundstück ist riesig und es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus, im weitläufigen Garten und am Pool. Das Haus ist eine alte Villa mit tollen alten möbeln und genügend Platz für alle, auch genügend Bäder und Raum zum Rückzug. Die Lage unterhalb von Cortona ist perfekt und Cortona ein schönes altes Städtchen zum bummeln und essen gehen. Auch der Lago di trasimeno ist schnell zu erreichen mit perfektem Strand auch für kleine Kinder.”

The isolated location was actually not a problem as we had a car and the drive to Cortona was not onerous. A grocery store was also nearby. "The staff made our stay extraordinary, helping with a pickup by FedEx and stayed late to let us check in when our flight was diverted to Pisa and we arrived after midnight. The other hotel guests, a couple of German ladies, were not that nice and complained when the night manager helped us with our luggage up all the stairs. A bit disappointed that the restaurant is closed, we hoped to enjoy a meal there but there is no lunch or dinner available. But the pool area is lovely and we loved staying at this place. "
