“There was no sign in a map at Kurashiki station and it wasn't easy for us as tourists to find the hotel. The reception area wasn't presumably non smoking and it smelled smoke almost every where even in elevator hall and corridor.
The room was big enough but I wish they clean a bit more.
The location was good for sightseeing.”
“Basic hotel. The staff are excellent and attentive. The ceilings in the corridors are low. The mandatory exit signs are low in the corridors, with sharp edges. If you are over 5'10", you will bump your head on these signs. Rooms are larger than I thought they would be. Quite happy with the room, thank you. ”
“The ryokan was a very special experience. A beautiful place to stay in historic Kurashiki. It was a treat to be in such a uniquely Japanese space with the tatami floor, the futon and the special bath. Lovely staff too. ”
