“Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the...

“It was perfect, the pale coloured carpet was a bit of a pain we had to leave shoes and slippers down in the hall which was not convenient and also no clocks anywhere. Parking was easy and handy, and the situation of the property was lovely right by the river and a very short walk into Otley. Overall the property is great.”

“Well-located just 20 mins walk from all the main sights in York's historical centre and includes free parking space for one car. Readily accommodates 6 people in kingside / twin beds in 3-storey townhouse. Well fitted out and spotlessly clean on arrival (and our departure!). ”

“Location was great. Walking distance from the main line railway station and easy access to town centre. We walked everywhere and didn't need our car. There is plenty of parking space in front of the house for a car or large mpv. There is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk down the road as well as a selection of great restaurants nearby. The house was clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable!We enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a lovely stay in this heritage property in York. Check-in was easy and all communication with the hosts was timely and friendly and helpful. The house is in a great location. We did not have a car and easily walked or took city buses to/from the train station and attractions. It was so close to the city centre that even my 5-year-old could walk from the house to the Minster and back without complaint. “We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location was perfect - close to the activities in York, but on a quiet street. It's a small place, but worked fine for our family of four. As others mentioned, the stairs are a bit steep and there's a wonky step to get from the master bedroom to the bathroom - but that's just part of being in an old home. ”

"Fantastiskt hotell med centralt läge nära tågstationen och allt runt omkring. Otroligt bra service och bemötande av personal. Vi åt på deras fine-dining restaurang "Legacy" som var "top-notch". i klass med Michelin stjärna restaurang. Bra spa med pool, vanlig pool, steam-bastu och vanlig bastu. Jättegod frukost med möjlighet att kunna beställa in olika frukosträtter som Egg Benedict mm. Hotellet hade allt, det enda som jag kunde sakna var en frisörsalong i hotellet, eller en salong som de hade samarbete med för bokning av frisering. "
