“What a fantastic gem to find in Birmingham! Beautiful lobby, delicious food, a spa and convenience. But as always, when traveling, it’s the staff that make the difference. From being greeted so nicely when I arrived to the front desk staff providing smiles and laughs, to going above and beyond to meet any requests, I found the staff to be outstanding. Would happily stay here again. ”

“Rooms were very clean and suits are large. The hotel is located within walking distance to many restaurants. Rocky Pizza Restaurant was just amazing. Staff were very helpful and professional.”

“I enjoyed my stay overall. Breakfast buffet was good..loved fresh omelets. The room did not have a refrigerator and front desk associate barely looked up from her phone to state there were no extra ones to bring. The pool area was full of kids which was fine, but no one else could enjoy the pool plus the kids kept the floor outside elevators soaking wet..causing a fall hazard. Hotel should have something for them to dry their feet before leaving the pool area. Food at Ruth Chris was good..great...

“The hotel breakfast was not available as renovations were being done throughout the hotel. The gym was also not available for this reason. Vending machines did not work and the floors looked like they had not been mopped or swept. I don’t know how this isn’t a one star hotel. There were multiple bugs in the shower and it looked like there had not been a cleaning crew that properly cleaned the bedroom before our stay. Overall it was a horrible experience and I would not stay here.”

“The staff was wonderful!!! Very helpful and hard working! The hotel itself is old, and the decor is a little weird, with a lot of pics of vials and pharmacy related things. Just a bit strange. The room was great, but just an old property.”

“The hotel is in a great location off of I-65 in Birmingham. It's a beautiful area and the hotel has been renovated. I'm glad there is no longer nasty carpeting on the floors. The staff moved us promptly to another room when I called the front desk to report that our TV wasn't working after we had checked in. My husband and I would definitely stay there again!”
