My husband and I booked a double room for one night while passing through the town. Upon arrival the hotel claimed to have “lost the key” for the only double room left that night and that they had tried to contact me, which we absolutely believe was a straight out lie.
They had not tried to call us. According to the hotels own website and hotels.com they still had two different kind of double rooms left when we arrived. They did however offers us a twin room instead which we absolutely did not want and they refused to give us our money back for the booking or any kind of compensation.
The room we were given was had a broken shower, mould in the bathroom, was next to the busy road (the only one in town) and next to the parking garage. Terrible service!
