“The only complexity was obtaining all of the details of the stay. They sent a link to a Google Drive with 6 PDF files detailing getting to the place and opening the door. I had to call to ask them to send the link after I emailed a full copy of my passport.
They have some laundry facilities (a washer, no drier) but you must provide your own detergent. I only stayed one night, so had no time.
Definitely could accommodate 4 travelers; I was there by myself. The interior was great.”

“Great location with easy access from main train station and plenty of restaurants options nearby. We travelled with two young kids and the playground behind the property was handy.
However, if you are planning on cooking there is only one old frying pan.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Pencil House over the new year period in Tokyo. The location is quiet and perfect as it is also convenient to get to anywhere with proximity to the metro station. The layout of the rooms was perfect as each of our preteens got their own space and the kitchen has everything needed in a compact space. Communication was very easy with the host and appreciated. Would consider staying again if we are back in the area ”
