“Lovely apartment (no. 9: "Duplex - 2 bedrooms") right next to the beach (even though a lot of rocks in the sea). Undisturbed seaview from all rooms of the appartment. This is the best location in the resort, totally private. Nice and calm pool area, which wasn't very busy at all.”

“Spacious & modern villa within walking distance of Flic en Flac restaurants. Shops also close by. Smooth check in process with Clivy who was very friendly & helpful throughout our stay. Francesca the housekeeper made us a delicious chicken curry & took great care of us. Highly recommend! ”

“Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison pourvue de toutes les commodités et sécurisée. De plus l'accueil d'Ikbal a été chaleureux avec des boissons fraiches et quelques pâtisseries du pays. Une aide nous a également été fournie pour organiser des sorties et des excursions. Une belle piscine permet de se baigner et de se reposer. Il est toutefois nécessaire de disposer d'un véhicule pour se rendre en ville.”

“The pool area is very nice. The beach is also very nice. The house has a lot of space and good big beds. There is kitchen equipment so you can make some food, but we just used the micro to heat food and plates and so on to eat breakfast. There is no reception, so don’t forget the number to the owner if you need help. There is no big store in Belle Mare so you need to go to nearby Villages for food shopping. The hotels nearby have restaurants, but there are not so many other restaurants in the...

“Vi bodde på Orchid Villas i två veckor (2 vuxna och 2 barn. 6 och 3 år) och är kanonnöjda. Kan inte bli bättre service då ägarna bor på området och hjälper till med allt som man ber om tex utflykter. Restaurangen Four Season som tillhör området serverar otroligt god och läcker mat till väldigt rimliga priser och supertrevlig personal. Det är bara 200 m till havet om man tröttnar på att bada i sin egen pool som man har i sin egen jättefina trädgård.”

Close to shopping and lots of beaches and restaurants you do need a car to get around there is a patisserie and a couple of restaurants that you can walk to ”

"Newly renovated so nice rooms. Unfortunately the service was very bad and weird setup. Was not allowed to put drinks on my room and asked to go to reception to pay for my drinks. The bar staff were embarrassed about the whole situation and apologized (they were good). To top the bad experience i started getting calls to my room i had to settle my bill from earlier at lunch. I had not even checked in by then since i arrived by 5pm. This did not occur to them at first and it took some time and explanations. This was my second time visit this year and i must say i will not be heading back. The service is simply awful and among the worst i have encountered in Mauritius which i visit many times a year. Will choose another hotel next time."
