“Initially stayed here due to a group trip but then prolonged my visit at this hotel, because it is fairly good and central location to what I remember an attractive price. It is located just south of Hyde Park and a 30 minute walk through the park (or 2-3 stops with the metro/subway close by) away from Circular Quay where the Sydney Opera House is. I also appreciated the guest laundry where I could do my laundry on my own. ”

“I was put at the front of the hotel and had a room overlooking the main street which had road works that woke me in the early hours and made sleep not easy. The hotel entry security is not up to standard. Anyone off the street can walk into the lift and go up to any floor of the hotel. There is no card-reader security tag in the lift past the first floor reception. Entry should be blocke to any floor unless the card is used to move the lift to your floor. “We were first time in Sydney and had a very pleasant stay at YEHS QVB! Great location, friendly service and got even an upgrade upon arrival. After checking out we came up that we forgot some cash in the room. We contacted the reception, they found the cash (all of it) and then asked how we want the money returned. So great and honest personnel!”
