“Very nice hotel, clean and modern rooms with a great breakfast buffet. Close to the Ringroad, gas stations and Subway/grocery store, so location was good. We had the room closest to the reception/elevators and it was a bit loud at moments (wish the door between elevators and corridor would be closed). Otherwise, standard is what you can expect from a top hotel, a bit pricy though, but this is Iceland I guess..”

“The smell is horrible. No where in their information about the hotel or location does it indicate that it is right next to a working farm with horses and cows… and the smell that comes with it. Stepping out of the car was a pain, and the smell also lingered in our room (probably due to a broken window that could not be closed all the way and because they air out the rooms when they are cleaned). “Ett mycket trevligt litet hotell. Bra sängar, vårt rum hade även balkong. Fint bibliotek med skinnmöbler och öppen spis, mysigt. Ett lokalt öl-bryggeri tvärs över gatan (om deras pub är stängd så finns ölen även att beställa i hotellets restaurang). Bra frukost, av de 7 hotell vi bodde på under denna resa så var denna frukost den bästa. Trevlig personal. Den kurviga kustvägen norrut är väl värd att köra.”

“The hotel and the location are amazing, walking distance to everything. Great views of the mountains and the whole town. Only problem we had was getting a place to have breakfast, the hotel recommends Hotel Aldan but we showed up at 8 in the morning and they did not have breakfast available (there was a group that was having breakfast) but they told us that they didn't have for the 2 of us. Only coffee was available?! Other than that a great stay, but be aware of maybe packing your own food in...
