“I liked the hotel overall. I did have some minor issues. The shower head connection squirted water at connection site and the cords for the window shade were broken so I was unable to raise or lower the window shade. Also, on the ground floor, the floor surface transition from the rug to tiled flooring was raised with a lip. I tripped and fell on the floor when my sneaker shoetip caught the lip.”

“We had a relaxing stay at Peaks of Otter. We walked the lake, took the shuttle almost to the top of Sharp Top Mountain and then hiked the rest of the way up, sat by the lake in the evenings by the fire pit, read on our balcony which over looked the lake, and ate in the dining room for most meals. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, answered all our questions and were always willing to help. Room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!”

“The check-in was friendly and informative. The room was quiet and mostly clean but there was some damage to the sofa and a desk chair probably from a dog. We reported it. “The beds were so uncomfortable. The bathroom door in the basement didn’t close. The wood shudder inside the house on the windows didn’t close fully. The house had an old smell and animal pee.
