Recensioner av topphotell i Tulum

Motto by Hilton Tulum
10/10 Fantastiskt
"Nytt och frÀscht hotell med underbar pool och gym pÄ taket. Frukost helt ok. Vi skulle bo hÀr igen om vi kom tillbaka till Tulum."

Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Fantastiskt

Hotelito Azul
6/10 Okej
"To begin with, the hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and housekeeping was very good.
What felt unnecessarily complicated was that most requests had to go through WhatsApp and only during limited hours. This made simple things difficult, such as getting fresh towels for the pool or the beach. The same applied to access to the gym.
Bike rental was also unclear. The company the hotel collaborates with never showed up, although there are alternatives available directly on the beach.
The same issue occurred with airport transportation. The transfer arrived late, which caused stress on the way to the airport.
Unfortunately, Tulum seems to have seen its best days. Many hotels are closed, restaurants are deserted, and there is a lot of trash on the beach and along the jungle edge.
Despite the eco-friendly branding, many hotels and restaurants rely on diesel generators for electricity.
Taxis are extremely expensive and the drivers are unfriendly. A short trip along the beach can cost up to 500 pesos at tourist prices."

Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa - All Inclusive
8/10 Bra
"HjÀlpsam och trevlig personal.
Bra rum
Bra pool
Bra kaffebar
Bra Huvudrestaurang/Buffe. Hade velat ha kaffeautomater istÀllet för serverad vid bordet och kaffet var svagt. Tur att det fanns kaffebar.
Bra gym, pingis o tennisbana, vattengympa, yoga
Lite sÀmre strand jÀmfört med Playa del carmen"

Naala Tulum
4/10 DÄligt
"TLDR; Exciting concept, poor implementation, horrible service
The concept: a courtyard with its own minijungle surrounded by the actual hotel. All rooms face the courtyard. The breakfast restaurant, the bar and the pool is on the rooftop, overlooking the nearby actual forest. All in brutalistic concrete. Exciting!
But the room smelled of mold, when A/C wasn't cranked up. The outdoor area was basically flat concrete, with strewn-out sunbeds, apart from the pool area which on the other hand is cramped. The bar served beer only. The breakfast buffet was half-full of items, at all times. We ended up buying breakfast in the nearby supermarket and eating in our room. AC cranked up.
And all that could have still have been ok - if the there had just been beds that worked We were two parents and one tall 17-year old. We travel a lot, always booking double-beds. Which at this hotel meant queen-size beds - and the smallest version of them. Couldn't fit two adults (except for perhaps those first two rosy-eyed weeks of an affair.) We asked front desk for an extra bed, a pull-out couch, or even just a mattress to put on the floor. Didn't exist. Pushed again. We could get a bigger room the next day. But next day: no, room wasn't cleaned. Or wait, management had said no. The answer wavered. I ended up slerping three nights on the floor. (Next hotel, on Cozumel, no problem getting an extra bed. "Of course, señor, we understand if the beds are too small.") "
