As you follow the cobblestone path through the lush, colorful gardens, you’ll be greeted by dragonflies and hummingbirds, beckoned by the cool, COMPLETELY PRIVATE/ONLY 4U sparkling pool, and lured into the cozy and inviting haven that is GAIA. You’ll wonder if you’ve just arrived in some other paradigm, and the truth is, you have.
The space
Prepare to be nurtured and inspired by the spirit of Mother Earth. Whether you are journeying within to revitalize your soul, looking to develop new ideas to share with the world, or simply looking to sway through your days with ease, this surreal sanctuary will hold space for you, fill you with light and love, and send you back into the world a better you.

This unique one-bedroom private villa features an artist’s alcove with a separate entrance, perfect for use as a work-studio, podcast room, writing room, or even a meditation space. And after a long day of creating (or relaxing), you can take sweet refuge in the palatial spa, which was just completely renovated and features a koi fish pond and soaking tub for magical baths under the stars.

GAIA is located inside the exclusive 1111 ALCHEMIST SPACE compound. There are only five private villas behind the 1111 Blue Door ;). You’ll receive a key to our front gate and to your private unit upon check-in.

Each guest will be added to a dedicated group chat specifically for each unit, which will be available for 24-hour communication with our staff. You’ll be able to use this thread to request services, order food from our café, or ask any questions you might have throughout your stay.

Neighborhood Description

1111 Alchemist Space is brilliantly located in the heart of Penestanan, just minutes from UBUD center. Within a few steps from our entrance, you will find the best local restaurants like Zest, Tyger, ALCHEMY, Yellow Flower Cafe, and the best yoga studios in town. The new ALCHEMY Yoga & Meditation Center is just around the corner, 5 min walk from our 1111 space.

Getting Around

We’re surrounded by pathways that will take you for a peaceful stroll along rivers and rice fields, lead you to the Campuhan Ridge Walk, and guide you through the abundance and beauty that surrounds you.

And if you’re driving a car or motorbike, we’re very conveniently located near Bali’s most notable areas, as we’re at the heart of the island here in Ubud:

Search for 1111 ALCHEMIST SPACE...So there you are, strolling under the lush canopies of Penestanan Village. The soft breeze from banana trees carries the sweet aroma of incense and cempaka flowers, and there’s a distant melody of flutes and bells coming from a ceremony at a temple nearby.

You look around and your eyes meet the gaze of a smiling local woman who offers a sample from her colorful fruit stand (the mangoes are extra sweet this week), she owns Bubu Warung. Right behind her, you see a glowing sign that reads, “11:11”. This is our cafe, this is when you’ll know that you’ve found it, the place you’ve been looking for, the place you’ve been called to.

Komang will take your bags and walk along with you, through the short pathway along the river, and as you enter through the BLUE DOOR, you intuitively feel that you won’t return the same. You are right. And, you are ready.
