“We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. “This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. “We had a fantastic stay. The lodges are tastefully and thoughtfully decorated with extra touches eg original art work, vases, lamps, throws etc which make you feel very special and cared for. The accomodation is absolutely spotless. The grounds are spacious and well kept with flower beds in the communal and private spaces. There are 2 fields to walk in, which have pathways through wild meadows. Both the inside and outside spaces have been created with the environment and sustainability in mind...
