“The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. “we had an amazing holiday. “The cottage is so homely and had everything you needed! Definitely a home from home. Hot tub was a fantastic edition. We also used the pizza oven one evening. Both bathrooms had powerful and hot showers. The host was very attentive and responded within hours of sending a message. Location is just picture perfect, with Ennerdale Water a 2 min drive away with plenty parking. There isn’t much else to do, other than walk at the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful. "Room was spacious but facing parking which came as a surprise. Breakfast and dinner options are good. Pool facilities are good. First breakfast only one person doing everything who was stressed and abrupt and complained so out loud. The other morning there were more staff so ok. In general staff are helpful and the stay was pleasant. "
