“Nice and quiet, and away from neighbours so it felt like a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoyable, and would gladly stay again. The view and sunny surround was absolutely amazing, as was the stroll down to the jetty. The house does provide all necessary cooking and living amenities to make the stay comfortable. However a coffee table would be really useful as there is no where to put your drink while watching tv. Absolutely fantastic that the property is pet friendly...

“Our booking was by pure fluke. We were staying in Mangawhai and every holiday rental was totally booked until we came across this beauty. Amy, our host and son Finn welcomed us to their piece of paradise with open arms and big smiles. We were then greeted by horses outside our window, an immaculate fully self contained flat with the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in and a swimming oasis at our feet. Everything about our stay was magical, right down the the friendly locals at the store 2mins...

“Has everything you need and more. Tucked away down a cul-de-sac. An awesome deck overlooking the bay, with a BBQ for those summer nights (and winter). Plenty of outdoor space for family & close to the beach for those early AM walks. Would definitely stay again.”

“Absolutely amazing everything was all set up an ready for you comeing from near or far it had everythink u need in the house so u travel light the view beautiful lots of space for the children to run around. You get your own privacy if you needed help with finding ur way around the place u message on ur gmail..the owner directly calls so your not waiting around so long for them to contacts back she will ring straight away theres a lots of activities that keepd my children entertained i was over...

“We (three old friends) spent two nights here to celebrate a birthday. It surpassed expectations in every way. The view is the star player, just incredible. We ended up chatting on the deck at great length, occasionally looking through binoculars for whales (no luck). Very comfortable bedrooms, well appointed. Excellent kitchen. Loads of extras, beautifully stocked with things to do, like swimming, spa, games, marveling at the view! Absolutely wonderful. Hosts are great communicators. Spotlessly...

“We had an amazing Easter break at Sandy Bay, the house is ideal for a group with 2 entirely separate areas, and all amenities included. We surfed and swam every day. The location is 10/10 being directly opposite the beach - you can hear the waves crashing at night and the view is magnificent. It is quiet, private and roomy. We would love to return soon. Nat is a very responsive and organised host - thanks Nat.”

“We had the most incredible time staying in this gorgeous property. The panoramic views are breathtaking. It felt like we were in paradise in a 5 star resort. The pool and spa are so luxurious. The house is very well set up with everything you need, lovely comfortable beds and tvs in every room of the house. There are many beautiful beaches to drive to and a local pub on the water that’s perfect for kids too. 10/10”
