Cosy Fisherman’s Cottage, minutes from High Street, Harbour & Beach

You will fall in love with our house due to its prime location being moments away from Whitstable's main shopping street with everything you need from art galleries, stylish clothes and food shops, restaurants and bars. In addition you have the beach and harbour just a few minutes' walk away, with its boats, colourful beach huts and oyster shells. The house is an ideal choice for all generations.

White Cottage was renovated extensively, converting what was a dark and cramped Victorian two-up two-down former fisherman's house in to an open plan, bright, stylish and comfortable holiday home.

Making it both, the perfect summer bolt hole, being able to sit in the secluded sun drenched garden or winter getaway with a cosy log burner to take the chill off after a walk along the beach.

The accommodation consists of a through lounge/dining area with wood burning stove and Sonos sound system, a galley style kitchen, guest toilet/utility room, and garden with outside dining. Upstairs on the 1st floor are the master Kingsize bedroom and a stunning marble master bathroom. The loft room has been converted to a spacious twin bedroom.

PLEASE NOTE the loft room is accessed via a steep original staircase and so we do not recommend for young children or people with mobility issues.

Free on street Parking is available on the street, and surrounding streets. With paid parking options (Resevoir Parking) also available within minutes from the house.

There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury area's. The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover.

Just the most perfect, well equipped and well located cottage in lovely Whitstable. We had a lovely few days here, it really was a real home from home. Spotless, tidy and in lovely position just off the hustle and bustle of the high street and in a perfect position for the numerous pubs and restaurants in the town. Fabulous stay

My husband and I just spent 3 weeks in Ric's beautiful Whitstable cottage. It had lovely details, sometimes overlooked by other rentals, such a Sonos and Smart TV. Location was perfect for strolls to town for restaurants, pubs and shopping. The train was just minutes away making visits to London and surrounding areas a dream. With the friendly Fountain Local acrross the street, a comfortable cottage with all the amenities and the best host for communication, what more could ask for. Thanks Ric for everything.

Property was clean and great location. The only negative thing is the stairs. We were not able to bring luggage up to the top bedroom, the stairs were way too steep.

Whitstable white cottage

Property well equipped, cosy ,warm, comfortable. Sleeping was ok - after pub opposite emptied and people outside finally went home rather noisily. Very tiny roads and difficult to park. Not really suitable if mobility issues , due to steepness of stairs in cottage and distance to carry after finding parking. Shower difficult to turn off water in bathroom basin very slow to drain away. Not really suitable for young children too.

Whitstable stay

Had a lovely few days in Whitstable. Cottage was beautifully decorated and clean with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Really great location in the heart of Whitstable. Will definitely stay again.
