The location was absolutely perfect -- we stayed in early September, just when it was starting to get colder at night, and sat in the hot tub every evening watching the stars. Lots of nature to see from the back deck, from Whiteface Mountain to cranes, deer, and a groundhog who came out at the same time everyday to snack on the vegetation in the yard. We also heard coyotes howling as we went to bed.
The place had a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and was very clean. We would've stayed a second week if we could've!
(Note: they are not joking about BYO everything -- be sure to stock up on toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, dish soap, hand soap, etc., for your stay. Unfortunately, they do not save leftovers from the last guests, unlike your usual short-term rentals.)
