“We really enjoyed our stay in the Lake District, the property was conveniently located in town in Windermere close to the train station where you could take buses to other towns on the lake. We had amazing hikes and saw beautiful views in old English towns. The property was comfortable but the landing on the upper floor has multiple levels right outside the bedroom and bathroom doors which was concerning with children. ”

“Beautiful property with fully equipped modern kitchen. Ideal for getting to shops and restaurants and all the Lake District attractions. Situated in a very quiet street. we enjoyed the Hot tub and Sauna after the long walks. To contact the host takes some time- as to open the front door is a bit tricky but soon get the hang of it but otherwise would highly recommend this property.”

“Check in was fine although later than we’ve ever been able to check in before (5pm). I did message the host to ask for an earlier check in and got no response. House location is great and can get parked outside. As soon as we got there, a smoke detector in the bedroom was beeping constantly. There was no chance we could have slept in the bedroom. I messaged the host again and still no response. I called the number that was on the email, left messages and no response. The last thing we could do...
