“Really lovely hotel with charm and personality. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and proper window blinds made the room dark for sleeping. Breakfast was really nice, basic range of alternative but everything was nicely cooked and of good quality. Lovely setting by the river, lots of restaurants nearby and a 5-minute walk to the main shopping street. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!”

“My family of 6 enjoyed the location of this property, because we walked to many dining options and took a day trip walking to Windsor Castle. There are a lot of stairs to get to the place, so beware of that if climbing is not something you’re able to do. Choose Flat 1 in that case!”

“We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience ”

“The room was ok and bigger than expected. however, not renovated. The bed was to hard and the pillows was too hard. The staff in the reception could be a bit more welcoming. It is the first hotel we have stayed in that we could not borrow a glass from the bar. We could only get small and cheap plastic glassed to bring to the room. But, overall, we had a good stay! ”
