I reserved and paid for the room with two breakfasts for me and my son in good time in advance. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist confirmed the room with breakfast. But in the morning when we were in hurry to go to the airport and wanted to take a quick breakfast around 7:00 - 8:00 AM the service people asked for the breakfast vouchers and two people, yes two people a man and a woman in the reception desk refused to allow us breakfast saying just one breakfast was paid and if we needed to take breakfast we had to pay about 10.5 pounds per breakfast. I told them repeatedly that I had already paid for it but they just ignored. They were insisting me to pay or go. Finally I had to go to my room at the 4th floor to get document to show them that I had the printed receipt showing I paid for the room with two breakfasts. Then they agreed but it was such an embarrassing situation for me in front of others. We lost the interest to go for a proper breakfast, I wanted to take a cup of coffee but the machine was not functioning and we had to leave the hotel soon for the airport. I have a feeling that these guys tried to manipulate people to earn a bit extra, which is not a good practice.
