3. Mersea Anchorage Cottage | Estuary Views

West Mersea

“We had a lovely short break in this charming cottage. The location is one of the best on the island, down a very quiet track with views out to the estuary and a short walk down to the harbour. Cottage was well equipped and has been renovated to a high spec. Steps upstairs are steep, reflecting how old the property is, so won’t suit anyone with mobility issues, but fine for us - just added to the character of the property. Would love to return!”

“The property was exactly as described and came with a lot more extras than expected such as cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper a clothesline in the back and seasoning if we wanted to cook and stay in. The host was exceptional in communication and when we had a small issue he came out to the house to assist within a few minutes. Bishal is a great host and I would definitely stay at this property again.”

“We had a great stay at Leno Villa as 2 couples wanting a short break to explore the local area. We particularly enjoyed the outside space, games around the dining table and the comfortable bedrooms. The house is well equipped and well placed for local trips into Manningtree, Flatford Mill (we kayaked from Constable Park, which is a 2 minute walk from the house!) and Dedham. A sign of a good stay is an eagerness to return and we’d be back in a flash! Thanks to Stef & Team :-)”

Recensioner av topphotell i Witham

Hampton by Hilton London Stansted Airport

10/10 Fantastiskt

"Convenient location, good breakfast, friendly staff."

St Nicholas Hotel

8/10 Bra

"Ett jättefint hotell. Rent, fräscht och ligger bra till. Vi hade ett problem när vi kom. Det var som att kliva in i en bastu. Det var över 30 grader varmt. Vi ställde upp dörren och drog ner graderna till lägsta men det blev inte under 25 grader innan vi skulle checka ut. Tack och lov så fanns det en fläkt vi kunde använda under natten."
