"Everything with the hotel and its staff is wonderful. The location is great if you enjoy being close to were it happens, without staying in a mega hotel on Times Square.
The breakfast at Da Toscano is another thing and really not included in my overall impression of the hotel itself as I don't want it to spill over. The restaurant is small and crowded and you'll be sitting tight with your neighbours which is not a favorite of mine for breakfast. You'll get five options to trade for your voucher, or USD 10 to deduct on the other items. The five options are at the most decent on a good day. Don't expect to get full if you're used to a classic continental buffet for breakfast. The granola option started out as the best one, but from day 3 the yoghurt was grainy and the toppings got less. Drip coffee weak every day. Servers forgetting the very straight and small orders day after day and you'll have to ask were your weak coffee is after being served the food. I have no clue how Da Toscano performs for lunch or dinner, but it does not look promising.
I would skip breakfast next time and get it elsewhere, but would absolutely consider staying at the Iroquois again on my next New York trip."
