The location was ideal, close enough to walk into York city centre but in a lovely quiet area, so it was nice and peaceful after a busy day exploring. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was well equipped, cosy and had all the facilities you could ask for. The hosts were excellent at communicating, always quick to respond and really helpful throughout our stay,...

“Really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean, cosy, and had all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The hosts were friendly and responsive whenever we got in touch, and the location was great with plenty nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

“Really impressed with our stay. The accommodation was beautifully presented, comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days away. The location was excellent, with plenty within easy reach, and the hosts made everything straightforward with clear instructions and fast communication. We'd definitely recommend it.”

“Lovely old property with lots of character. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished. As a group of friends we enjoyed our stay. 20 min taxi or bus ride into York. Very few negatives. Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case.”

“Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay ”

“The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.”

“Only thing wrong was we didn’t stay long enough. We loved this little cottage. It’s a beautiful little home away from home. Whitby was fantastic as well. Wish we’d known ahead of time how much we would love it so we could have booked a longer stay.”

“My family and I absolutely loved staying at Bailey's Beach House, everything was to a very high standard. Fully equipped kitchen was high spec and easy to use. The location were really quiet considering the house is near to the amenities. We especially enjoyed all the artwork around the house. Thanks”

“Lovely place - well equipped, and very responsive host! Very quiet and relaxing - great chance to unwind while also having the coast and Hull nearby to explore.”

“We had a great long weekend at Echo beach, the house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, Also a great location right next to the park, would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.”
