Cozy Remodeled Rayburn Cottage with Lakeviews

Escape to a tranquil haven overlooking the serene Sam Rayburn, where you can unwind and recharge. Ideal for fishing enthusiasts, romantic couples seeking a getaway, or a girls' weekend retreat, this charming cottage has undergone a complete remodel. Recline on the porch swing, savor the gentle breeze, and take in the picturesque lakeview.

Spacious double lot offers private space with ample parking for boats and all guests. Avoid the crowds at Cassels-Boykin Boat Ramp with the private community boat ramp (for a nominal launch fee).

Swim beach is just over 1 mile or public Cassels-Boykin less than 20 miles.

The cabin has been remodeled with a mini-master suite complete with full laundry and bathroom. Secondary bedroom has two queen beds. Equipped with StarLink internet, 50-inch TV with all streaming services this is the perfect blend of relaxing in nature with modern conveniences.

Full kitchen, stocked for convenience, and all linens provided.

The View

The house was cute the furniture in pictures is not what’s in the house. There’s No outdoor furniture ( a porch swing) to set in on the porch so would be nice to know in advance so you can bring lawn chairs. There was ants everywhere, we had to pic up limbs to get in the driveway, the outside garage can was full and smelled so bad we had to move to the bk of the house. I text the host about some of this, and in return she said all the linens was ruined that was in the house. ( no they wasn’t) and there was flees & dog hair everywhere. First my dog is a poodle and doesn’t shed & she doesn’t have flees. Although the yard had sand flees that got all over our feet. I think the host is grasping for straws and needs more money or simply got mad that I addressed the ant, garbage & limbs.I’d use Caution……

Perfect lakehouse

We enjoyed our visit to Sam Rayburn, and the house was perfect for us. It was very clean, the bed and linens were very comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and the bath towels were very nice. The neighbors were great and the boat launch was very convenient. We look forward to staying in this home again.

Cute, Clean, and Cozy

We loved our stay at the Cozy Cottage! The house was clean and comfortable, annd accommodated our family of 4 with everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was really cute and peaceful. The people we encountered were very friendly. The house has a good sized yard that our kids enjoyed playing in and plenty of room for boat parking. Plus a pretty lake view from the porch! The neighborhood boat ramp was easy to use and close proximity to the house. We will definitely be returning!

A definite do again stay

Our entire experience at this location was, in one word great. My wife made the comment she would definitely stay at this location again. The entire cabin was very clean and conveniently located less that 1 block away from a launch ramp, which you can actually see while standing on the front porch. There was plenty of room to park the boat & truck in the front of the cabin. If you're heading out for a fishing trip or a getaway to relax, we would definitely recommend this location to anyone!

Rayburn Cottage

Cottage is in a nice little subdivision on Sam Rayburn Lake. The subdivision had its own boat ramp which was very convenient. The cottage has everything you need for cooking up your favorite meal. Gas grill would be an added bonus. 3 comfortable queen beds. Not a far drive to Boykin Springs for a nice hike, then a swim in the lake which is fed by cold springs. Easy drive to Lufkin if more dining options are required. Brookshire Brothers store in Zavalla is close by. Brought our SeaDoo with us which made it much easier to see the reservoir. Beautiful!!! Had a fun and relaxing 3 night stay.
