âIf you are looking for a nice friendly hotel with great service and a very good location in the centre of Amsterdam, this is for you. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby. Well spent money with breakfast included, big breakfast buffet with live cooking. We stayed here some years ago and when we returned to Amsterdam we prefered to return to Banks Mansion, that is a really good review.â

âGreat reception at the welcoming - got to choose between two rooms - and as the room I preferred wasnât ready (I arrived a bit before check-in) I got a coffee whilst waiting. Felt like front desk service was great but to actually get the help I asked for was more tricky. For example when I was promised cleaning during a specific time interval it was still missed. Happened two days in a row (first day I asked less specific to be fair). I was sick during my stay so only had the energy to be out of...

âI as so pleased with my stay at hotel. I went to Amsterdam for a professional congress, and have previously stayed at nice modern hotels nearer to the RAI center. This was hardly timewise further away, and in the middle of charming Amsterdam. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was terrific, a fine bathroom. The restaurant was very very good, quite gourmet, and elegantly decorated. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. I can't praise this property too much.â

âThe look and feel of the rooms is unique. Antiques, hidden drawers, a bit of history lesson and a huge painting on the ceiling. Every detail in the room is planned in such a way to transport you to another era. The only thing that is missing is a bit more lighting. An extra lamp perhaps, or less directional sconcesâŠ? The location is perfect, the breakfast delivered to the room each morning was delicious and beatifully served- and I was immensely grateful for the umbrelas that the hotel lent us...
