The location was fantastic-close to Rembrandtplein with all its bars and restaurants and easy walking all over central Amsterdam. Room was bigger than expected and bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious with good water pressure. Only small niggle was no way to turn on the fan and little evidence fan was coming on automatically, so very steamy after showers. Breakfast was delicious with lots of traditional options as well as breakfast staples. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Numerous staff members were very helpful. The room was large and the bed incredibly comfortable. We were on the ground floor at the street, so street noise was a bit of an annoyance. Returning we'd definitely choose the Leonardo Eden and request a higher floor.

Location was excellent for touring. Walking distance to most places of interest. In the city center but quieter and safer environment. Having an elevator a real plus! Check in staff very helpful and accommodating. Can rent umbrella in lobby by dispensing machine. I did not use the pre check in as Did not have English / Canada as choice but other English speaking countries listed. ie. English/ American

We enjoyed the location and the beautiful view over the canal. The room, though worn, was well laid out, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Wifi was poor. We opted not to have breakfast.

Upon arrival we were told that an associate would take us to our apartment. After waiting around for 15 - 20 minutes I asked someone if they could help us. They showed us to our apartment. The apartment was bare bones. There were not kitchen towels or wash cloths. There was no room in the bathroom for toiletries. The kitchen table was an office desk. The queen bed has 2 very small pillows. And oh my goodness the spiral staircase was a nightmare! Thank heavens we were on the second floor and not the third. Simply put, I would not stay there again.

My stay at Leonardo Eden Hotel was unfortunately disappointing. The location is great — very convenient and easy to get around the city — but the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. The rooms didn’t feel thoroughly checked or properly maintained, and cleanliness was inconsistent. I repeatedly had to ask for cleaning, fresh towels, and sheets, which shouldn’t be necessary during a stay. It felt like attention to detail and guest care were lacking. I really wanted to love it because the location is so good, but overall I left feeling quite disappointed

I didn’t really see the staff because I didn’t need to. But they were kind enough to call and message me right after I checked in and settled into my room. The lights confused me as it was my first time in Europe. Turns out you put your keycard in a slot by the door and then they work lol. But my bathroom wasn’t super clean…. There was just some dust.. in the bathtub. And a stain in the sink. I don’t know. But I’m not too picky. I didn’t complain because I was not gonna bath anyway. And it was gone after I showered. The bed was bigger than I thought and it was comfy. AND it’s very conveniently located to things. Right outside your door is a canal. Who can complain? I’d stay here again.

Rugs and carpets had many obvious stains, looked like vomit, with dust bunnies along baseboards, and a dirty microwave. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, bakery items and tea selection were the best. Wifi, view, and location are excellent. We had two apartments and checked in at two separate times as only 1 apartment was ready upon early arrival. (This was no issue for us.) The female receptionist with long curly hair in the morning was excellent during our first check-in. She was friendly and explained features of the hotel, then walked us to our apartment. Later on, the large male receptionist was dismissive towards me when i attempted to inquire if my other apartment was ready for check-in. He told me to just use the kiosks and waved me away. He seemed like a manager, as he was in a suit, and it made me feel very uncomfortable. (Mind you, I am dutch, fluent in my language, and work in the international travel industry.) Luckily, I recognized the room number I was assigned as the apartment across the hall from my sister. I can only imagine what this experience would've been like for someone that is not familiar with traveling, considering the property comprises of a few separate homes included with the hotel.
