Spasemester i Frankrike

So we live in Nice and had to book a hotel because of water leakage in our apartment. Because of this we managed to see different hotels and can really see a difference. The Danish lady receptionist was super nice and service-minded. The young Italian guy had a very bad attitude and was literally rude to me when I came down stressed because the key to a changed room that we had just received didn’t work. I had just left a crying hungry baby and we were forced to change room because of mysterious ant-attack. This guy had not only not come to the room to see the problem as he promised when I called about the issue m, we waited for him a while (he later said he had forgotten the room number, which also shows the level of customer care!), he was nagging about why I was stressed when we had gone all the way up with all our stuff just to notice that the new key didn’t work. No service in mind, not even good attitude at a human level in mind. But only the young Italian-speaking guy and not the rest. The rest were nice. It was also a disappointment that the pool could only be used one hour, it was not clear when I booked and the room that was supposed to be 25 m2 was much smaller than that. We had just stayed at Hotel Vendôme in a 16 m2 room and they were the same size. The only good this was that the lady at the desk changed our room to a better one due to the ants attack. Alas if you need it quiet it’s not so quiet here, you hear the cars outside. We heard it from 5th floor.

Städningen kunde vara bättre. Damm och hår både i rum och i badrum.

Det var ett fantastiskt hotell - men ändå inte den där lyxhotell-känslan. Kanske pga att läget inte var perfekt. Inredningen något för prålig för att nå upp till elegans.

Bra: Rummen stora och fräscha. Nära till shuttle som tar en till de olika terminalerna på CDG. Dåligt: Frukostmatsalen öppnar först kl 6 på morgonen. Obegripligt med tanke på att det är ett flygplatshotell vid CDG med hur många olika flighter som helst vid olika tider på dygnet. Vi checkade in en halvtimme före midnatt och fick då klart för oss att vi inte skulle hinna få frukost (som vi betalt för) eftersom vårt plan gick 7.10. Vi fick några barvouchers i receptionen som kompensation för att köpa juice eller liknande. Det visade sig att baren hade stängt, alltså redan före midnatt, och öppnade först kl 6 nästa morgon. Våra vouchers var alltså värdelösa. Baren låg nästan intill receptionen så det är märkligt att de inte hade koll på barens öppettider. Ytterligare minus för en incheckning som tog väldigt lång tid, nästan en halvtimme.
