“Overall a very nice hotel. Great views from the lounge area. Great drinks at reasonable prices. Two negatives, really bad smell in our bathroom and the waitors in the restaurant was TOO attentive, we didn't get a chance to eat they came to the table every second minute to check if everything was okay ( which aside for them asking all the time, it was).”

“We had a wonderful stay at El Faro. The location was perfect for our family. The beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are very close. The view from our balcony was amazing. We knew about climbing the hill beforehand and really didn’t think it was that bad (our ages were 58, 49, 48, 46, 15, 14, 12, and 11). The hotel staff helped bring up and down our luggage, so that wasn’t an issue, and a golf cart ride was easily available, whenever needed. We also really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning,...

“Jessica the owner was so helpful and amazing customer service. The place is wonderful and infinity pool was great. She also advised us places to visit which were really helpful. Jessica was always there when you need her. Plenty of food for breakfast which is served near the pool and astonishing view over the mountains, valleys , forest and even the sea!!!!!! Highly recommend this place..... ”
