“Firstly the host Susan was a star from start to finish.She answered all my queries immediately and gave us confidence pre visit.The apartment was as described but exceeded our expectations.It was fully stocked with towels and we were impressed by everything in the flat.Due to our late departure flight time we asked if we could check out later than first agreed and again Susan was agreeable to this .To summarise we loved our visit to Newstead and would definitely like to return”

“This is a bungalow next to a mansion in a residential neighborhood near Holetown in Barbados. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is unusual in that there are no glass windows, just openings that have wooden shutters. This gives you a feeling of living outdoors, but with an air conditioner. Initially we were worried about opening the windows and bugs coming in, but there was no issue with that in time of year that we visited (early March). So for most of the time, the windows were open...

“Fabulous garden cottage, literally a steady 5 minutes walk to Gibbes beach or 3 minutes to Mullins beach. Well-equipped and freshly decorated, with aircon in bedroom. Everything as described and more. Looked after by the lovely Wendy but not intrusive. Hummingbirds, green monkeys, parakeets and butterflies in abundance in the amazing garden. Such a relaxing holiday - we will be back ”
