Lägenheten låg bra till och var ren och i fint skick. Tyvärr hade vi inte tillgång till balkongen pga renoveringar. Annars var vi väldigt nöjda.

The kitchen was well equipped for us. We were footsteps away from the butcher, the fruits and vegetable store, bakery, supermarket, pharmacies. Also wonderful coffee shop, pizza and many great restaurants within a 2 - 10 minute walk. The metro and bus lines were at the end of the street. Very cozy and friendly neighborhood with easy acces to all that Barcelona has to offer.

Wonderful location in a friendly neighborhood close to public transport, many restaurants, groceries and more. The apartment was perfect for 3 people with a little terrace to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. The kitchen had everything we needed including a coffee maker, dishwasher, cutting boards, wine opener, knives, etc. there is a washing machine and you hang your clothes out to dry, the AC was nice to have and worked well in main bedroom and living area. The smaller bedroom was slightly warm but still comfortable. The host Frederic met us upon arrival and showed us around the place and things operate, Only complaint would be not enough closet space but we shared what we had! We would rent here again!!

Spacious apartment conveniently located

Property has everything you need for a Barcelona stay. Very close to parks, restaurants, markets and metro. Kitchen was well equipped. Perfect for an active family of 4. Read the description closely so you aren’t surprised by the stair climb or the bathroom configuration.

Beautiful historic apartment with updates

This apartment is a lovely blend of old and new— beautiful old tile floors, antiques, then a modern bath and well stocked kitchen. We loved the neighborhood as it is near but not directly in the tourist areas. It is about one block from the PobleSec metro and bus line directly downtown, there are groceries, restaurants and bars just steps from the apartment. One caveat, there are a lot of narrow stairs to reach the third floor so it is not a good option for anyone who has mobility issues. Frederic met us right at arrival and helped with bags, he was excellent with communication and overall a very gracious and helpful host!

Fab little apartment in a great area

Loved our stay in this cute, clean apartment. Our host was out of town when we arrived but had arranged for us to be greeted by someone else which was perfect. We found the location was just terrific…easy walks for our nice coffees in the am, easy access via Ave Parallel to La Rambla and some activities we had lined up, pretty terraces for prosecco in the early eve, and nice bistros in the Parlement area. We also walked all the way to the Sagrada from the apartment too which is entirely possible for those who enjoy a good walk..

Wunderbar gelegene Ferienwohnung / Schlafzimmer ist Durchgangszimmer

Die Ferienwohnung liegt ideal, um Barcelona zu erkunden. U-Bahn und Bus sind max. 5 min entfernt und das Gelände der Weltaustellung von 1929 ist zu Fuß in 10 min erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und war sauber.Leider ist auf der Beschreibung der Wohnung / auf den Bildern nicht erkennbar, dass die Toilette und das Bad nur über das Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett) zugänglich sind. Damit wird das Schlafzimmer zum Durchgangszimmer. Bei der Reise als Paar ist das sicher kein Problem, aber wir reisten zu Dritt mit meiner Mutter und da war es nicht so ideal.Die Ablagemöglichkeiten für Sachen sind in beiden Schlafzimmern sehr begrenzt.

Quiet neighbourhood within 30 mins walk of most tourist destinations

Very functional and convenient. Walking through main bedroom to get to shower and toilet a bit disappointing if a friend is using the small 2nd bedroom. The 2-3 storey walk up should be noted - but overall a pleasant place and cost-effective.

Excellent location!

The property is well maintained and was clean when we got there. The best thing about it is its location. It is a short walk to the metro station (5 mins) and there is lots of eating establishments right nearby. Across the street are several small grocery stores and a slightly larger one in the nearby square. The apartment had plenty of room for our group of four and it’s nice that the bathroom was separate from the shower as it allowed us to multitask. The only thing to be aware of is that it is two flights up and there are no elevators. We love the view and would recommend this property to others. Additionally shout out to Frederick as he was able to help us with the request on short notice.

Recommandé pour quelques jours de découverte de Barcelone

Très bien situé dans l'agréable quartier populaire de Poble Sec, très bon accueil de notre hôte Fredéric, l' appartement a beaucoup de charme. Il vaut mieux privilégier les repas à l'extérieur (restaurants recommandés par Frederic) certains des précédents locataires ne veillant pas forcément à l'entretien des petits équipements usuels de cuisine (cafetières, grille pain, plat de four) . Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Great place

Fantastic and authentic apartment with a great location, close to shopping, public transport, and plenty of restaurants and bars. The apartment is well-equipped and has a lovely little balcony. Frederic greeted us on time and gave us great tips for our stay. If you’re into football, it’s close to FC Barcelona’s temporary home stadium, and only a 45-minute walk to Camp Nou. We’d love to come back!

Alojamiento sucio, oscuro, deteriorado con falta de muchas reformas. Olor a viejo y humedad, tres pisos de escaleras sin ascensor, no ventilacion ni calefaccion adecuada. Moho en techos, luz de la casa con un cable colgando del techo y atadas bombillas, Todo horrible.

Super expérience

Parfait séjour de 3 nuitées avec un super accueil de Frédéric que je remercie chaleureusement. J'ai pu repasser dans l'appartement en milieu de journée pour récupérer mes bagages avant d'aller à la gare. C'est franchement agréable se faire accueillir en personne et d'avoir des conseils personnalisés pour le séjour. Si l'occasion se représente pour moi de revenir à Barcelone, je reviendrai sûrement dans ce gite situé par ailleurs dans un quartier très agréable à 30 mn à pied de la gare. Petite épicerie bio coopérative dans la rue.

Great location, gracious old apartment

We really appreciated Fanny who was so understanding about out delayed flight and late check in. She gave us some good eating recommendations for the locale. The apartment was really generous in size and a relaxed, if slightly dated place. Great location and quiet area.
