The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this comfortable 2-bedroom apartment located next to Plaza Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona.



The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances. This apartment has a great balcony ideal to enjoy Barcelona's summer days.



The apartment is 3 minutes from Metro Plaza de Catalunya (Red Line L1 & Green Line L3).

Welcome to this 84 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya.



We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!

The Neighborhood:

Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Perfect Location

This apartment couldn’t be more centrally located in Barcelona. Just steps from La Rambla, the gothic quarter, Plaça Catalunya, and both La Pedrera and Casa Battló! You are also surrounded by great restaurants and some of the best shopping in Barcelona. The apartment was looking a little worse for the ware when we were there last week. There is water damage in the bathroom as well as a hole cut into the ceiling for maintenance work that wasn’t properly repaired. The curtains were missing on one window and had clearly been broken by a prior guest and not replaced. The balcony shutters are partially broken and just lying on the side. Finally the couch and some of the other furniture are close to the end of their lifespan and aren’t that comfortable. Now for the good parts…. Security doors in and out of the building. Two fast (but small) elevators make it easy especially with luggage. Friendly doorman during the day. The balcony provides for a great view of the city especially at night including distant but beautiful views of Sagrada Familia. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is functional and easy to use and the appliances including the washer and dryer work well. (We didn’t cook just reheated a few things but all seemed to work fine). The hosts are professional and friendly and were quick to handle any issues. The “key” is a phone app that opens the building and the room.

Schöne große Wohnung in excellenter Lage mit renovierungsbedürftigem Badezimmer. Küchenausstattung war in Ordnung, Küchenmöbel sind reparierungsbedürftig. Im Wohnzimmer waren 3 von 4 Steckdosen defekt und die Couch ist alt und durchgesessen. Schöne Bilder in der gesamten Wohnung. Balkonmöbel waren auch z. T. kaputt. Fensterläden auch z. T. defekt.

Great location and communication

This property was in the best possible location for our trip. We were able to walk to everything except for a couple sites out of district. Easy access to public transportation and aerobus was a plus. The communication was excellent and very clear. They were very quick to reply and very accommodating. Check-in was easy so long as you followed the instructions provided. A few basics were provided. It was so nice being able to do a load of laundry. From reading the other reviews, we brought a few travel soaps/shampoos with us and we were set. We would not have been able to get the same space and number of rooms from a hotel for the same price. Overall, I am very happy with our stay and would easily recommend this location to anyone wishing to visit Barcelona

Perfectly placed for a Barcelona stay. Steps from La Rambla, across the street from shopping and a gourmet marketplace. In the heart of Old Town. The flat is light, airy with a lovely balcony for coffee and wine.

This is the best location if you are on a first time tour of Barcelona. The airport bus, metro, buses, it's all there. Department store across the street has a supermarket in the basement with everything you need (open 9am to 9pm). The apartment was pretty comfortable. Now for downsides. Our family of 4 stayed 6 nights. The unit came with 2 toilet paper rolls and 2 travel size shampoo packets, and the kind of bar soap that's 3cm wide and 5mm thick. No hair conditioner. No paper towels. No tissue. No dish soap. No dish sponge. No laundry detergent. No extra garbage bags. No USB outlets. The freezer is covered in ice and unusable. The edges of the kitchen cabinet panels are coming apart, so you have to be careful when opening/closing. Bathroom door frame is rotting. Couldn't figure out how to lock the bathroom door. Sink faucet won't stop dripping. Shower temperature is warm at best. There's a guy who lives right outside the street level door, but he doesn't harass anyone. After buying supplies from the supermarket, we made the place work for us. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, especially at the price point in comparison to other properties.

Spacious, great views, great location!

This was an all-around great experience! Great communication start-to-finish. Apartment was exactly as portrayed! Wonderful place with a lovely balcony, and great light/windows. We were comfortable here, and the location is perfect for walking to all sights from Barrio Gótico and Raval to Passeig de Gracia and La Pedrera! And the air conditioning works GREAT!

Perfect spot!

VERY central property with an easy entry (codes) and clean rooms. Walking distance to all of Las Ramblas' sights/sounds/cuisine and the metro/sightseeing buses. Right in the middle of everything, yet we found it quiet in the flat. Washer/dryer (while tiny and odd by US standards - you have to dump water from the dryer periodically) was really helpful too! Also, the management company was VERY responsive and even helped us out with luggage storage before we could check in. Would absolutely stay there again!

Well placed but lacking many basics

Communication and check-in were good, although the cleaners were late to allow access. Good points: 1) spacious for two adults, second bedroom only useful for children, 2) air conditioning and heating worked well, 3) well placed for transport hubs. Bad points: 1) no toiletries, only 2 small sachets of shower gel, 2) bath not working (no plug) and dirty jacuzzi, 3) cheap kitchen appliances, 4) no kitchen basics such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. We left some of these and hope they are available for the next guests, 5) no bath or kitchen towels, only hand towels, 6) balcony unsafe for small children, 7) shower temperature barely hot.

Great location for exploring Barcelona

The apartment was perfect for our week in Barcelona. Transit hub is right across the street at Placa de Catalunya and it’s easy walking to many of the wonderful historic sites in the Gothic quarter and Passeig de Gracia. Cafes and markets are abundant. Nice apartment. We felt secure and safe.
