“It was an absolutely lovely experience and grate place to stay. The most disappointing thing, esotericism on a holiday advertised for kids, is that you can only get 1 hour slots at the pool per day. Yes the pool is emptier when you're there but 1 hour is just not enough! Plus you have to drive to get anywhere else that's kids friendly. So if that changed my rating would improve.”

“Quite superb Grade 1 Listed Medieval Hall House, truly exceptional, hardly a right angle, level floor or vertical wall anywhere, expertly restored. Outstandingly well-provided and comfortable. Excellent for children - every conceivable nook for hide and seek, good sized garden, lots of games provided. Faultless. Do not book if you do not appreciate history, quietude, remoteness, and if you want your life filled with modern gadgets. ”

“We had a great stay in The Bailiff's House, it has absolutely everything you could need. Great base for exploring. We didn't have dogs with us but i have told friends with dogs about it as it would be an ideal place for them with the facilities it has. It was lovely to come back to a nice warm place after mountain biking in the wet muddy weather. ”

“Cotts Farm is beautifully situated, quiet and peaceful. The scenery is stunning and as nature lovers there was so much to see and explore. The garden and surrounding woodland and stream is breathtaking! The kitchen was spacious and we had everything we needed to share home cooked meals. We all slept very comfortably and enjoyed relaxing indoors and outdoors. Pippa and Steve are friendly hosts, offering lots of advice and information about attractions nearby.
