âThis hotel is beautiful and in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik. Rooms are spotless, spacious, and very modern. We loved the breakfasts in the morning, and received 5-star service from everyone who works there. The manager not only arranged transportation but also walked us and our luggage to the main gate to ensure our driver was there. My only suggestion would be to bring earplugs as the bars near the hotel can get loud on weekend nights but it was fine once I put my earplugs in. Other than...

âThis is a beautiful place to stay, right in centre of town. Very easy to get to from drop-off by taxi at Pile Gate, and thankfully it's on same level as the main street, so no struggling up lots of stairs on side streets with heavy cases, as other tourists we saw had to do. You do however have to lug cases up stairs within hotel if on top floor as we were , no lift. Beautiful room, everything catered for, perfectly clean. We arrived late evening from Montenegro by ferry, but arrangements were...
âOnly an overnight to catch early morning flight, but as soon as we saw apartment we regretted not coming earlier. Great view of Dubrovnik and ocean from both balcony and windows in this top floor apartment.
Well planned layout with all essentials provided. Very friendly and helpful host completed first impression.
Only 10 minutes from old town makes this a perfect starting point to explore old Dubrovnik.
And town is truly worth more than half a day of sightseeing.

"An excellent 5 star hotel in Dubrovnik, from the exceptional welcoming reception, to the always friendly and service minded staff and of course, amazing luxurious rooms, in our case with a private terasse, beautiful spa and a must mention, the hotel exclusive direct sea access with sun chairs, service and absolute closeness to the Adriatic sea right at the doorstep of the hotel. All and all, a must stay in Dubrovnik, only a few minutes away from the historic Old town and all the buzz it is both calm and serene at Excelsior. We'll be back. Thank you to all the staff for working hard and making it a memorable stay!

Try out the hotel restaurants, they are fantastic.
A room with a terrace is nice but not a must have, try booking in the villa but if you have to choose there are plenty of outdoor space anyway at the hotel facilities.
