âWhat a fun experience! The rooms are huge and we had three of the four of them. Itâs in the heart of Old Town and the directions on how to enter through the Pile gate made it so we didnât have hardly any steps to carry our luggage. The rooms were immaculately clean and lots of amenities (including towels!).
Be sure to reach out to them ahead of time to schedule what time you will be arriving. I would 100% stay here again. â

âOnly an overnight to catch early morning flight, but as soon as we saw apartment we regretted not coming earlier. Great view of Dubrovnik and ocean from both balcony and windows in this top floor apartment.
Well planned layout with all essentials provided. Very friendly and helpful host completed first impression.
Only 10 minutes from old town makes this a perfect starting point to explore old Dubrovnik.
And town is truly worth more than half a day of sightseeing.

"An excellent 5 star hotel in Dubrovnik, from the exceptional welcoming reception, to the always friendly and service minded staff and of course, amazing luxurious rooms, in our case with a private terasse, beautiful spa and a must mention, the hotel exclusive direct sea access with sun chairs, service and absolute closeness to the Adriatic sea right at the doorstep of the hotel. All and all, a must stay in Dubrovnik, only a few minutes away from the historic Old town and all the buzz it is both calm and serene at Excelsior. We'll be back. Thank you to all the staff for working hard and making it a memorable stay!

Try out the hotel restaurants, they are fantastic.
A room with a terrace is nice but not a must have, try booking in the villa but if you have to choose there are plenty of outdoor space anyway at the hotel facilities.

Urtrist rum (nr 10) med sunkig soffa o udda trÀmöbler, bara 1 sÀnglampa (dubbelrum), TV:saknades o ÄtgÀrdades inte trots samtal med restaurangen (dÀr man checkar in). Absolut ingen stÀdning under 3-nÀtters vistelse. Ingen garderob utan bara krokar pÄ vÀggen. "
"UdemĂŠrket hotelophold. Lidt i den dyre ende prismĂŠssigt, hvilket faktisk er okay hvis der er tale om âvalue for Moneyâ. Dette hotel er min optik ikke pengene vĂŠrd, og jeg havde hellere brugt 25.000kr andetsteds. Personalet er generelt flinke og det er tydeligt at de gerne vil give deres gĂŠster et godt ophold. Andre personer i personalet er yderst uhĂžffelige, arrogante og snobbede. Personalet har ikke tilstrĂŠkkeligt styr pĂ„ faktura og opkrĂŠvning. Vi blev blandt andet faktureret for et belĂžb med anden signatur og et andet rum pĂ„ 60 euro. Derudover forsĂžgte hotellet at fĂ„ os til at betale for en middag pĂ„ 110 euro, en middag som vi allerede havde betalt. Vi havde naturligvis alle kvitteringer i orden som dokumentation."
