Hotell nära Brooklyn Paramount

“Generally a good hotel. The staff were amazing and beyond, so friendly, welcoming, helpful, hospitality personified. Rooms very clean, if a bit dated. The breakfast, however, was terrible. Nothing but ultra-high processed foods, high in sugar, salt and trans fats. What little fruit was available was not fresh. Breakfast was also served on paper plates with disposable plastic cutlery. Disappointing. ”

“Rooms were clean. Common areas need improvement in cleanliness. Specifically the floors. In restaurant, hallways, public restrooms. Breakfast adequate — pricey. Staff helpful. Good location. ”

“Changed to handicapped room for way more space and comfort for our 6 night stay. Staff helpful in arranging this. Lots of nearby places to buy good quality food for diy breakfast in room w well appointed kitchen. Fresh fruit and yogurt downstairs was helpful too. Only drawback is the vacant lot next door where unhoused people sleep and leave litter behind in the morning. Otherwise cool neighborhood in Brooklyn close to Park Slope”

“So this was my first time staying at Tru by Hilton. The room was pretty small, but it was clean overall. Unfortunately, there was a stain on my blanket, and although I waited for it to be replaced, no one ever came. The walls also weren’t very well insulated, so it was difficult to sleep because you could hear doors slamming, people outside, and cars driving by throughout the night. On the positive side, the lounge and breakfast area were really nice, and the breakfast itself was pretty good....

I laughed with the staff about wanting to stay here because my last name is Platt..... (a few letters longer). I had a magical stay. I enjoyed the rooftop. The service was prompt. The rooms were clean, the showers worked, i'm in downtown new york city, what else can you ask for? Next time I come to new york, I'm staying here especially now that I know the neighborhood better.”
