Best Christmas Vacation Home
This place was awesome! Plenty of room for all of us to stay. 10 of us filled the house with Laughter, Joy, and Happiness for almost a week. Walking distance from some fun areas. Peaceful neighborhood. House had everything we could have ever needed. Crockpot on site. Cast iron pans as well as other cookware. A wide variety of seasonings available. Plenty of room to spread out and have your own quiet times if needed. Homeowners were awesome. Extremely helpful if we needed anything. Highly recommend this home for large families.

Halloween wedding in Buena Vista
What a delightful house to stay in for a Halloween wedding at the Surf Hotel! The house was so comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. The radient heat floors were amazing after we got a foot of snow the first night and woke up to 3 degrees outside! So close to everything and some amazing hiking. Everything was walkable and the cute little town had so many fun resturants and shops. The Surf Hotel, a block from the house was a perfect venue for a wedding. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the great hiking trails and rafting in the river. Thank you Jeff for your great communication and such a warm, comfortable house!

Wonderful place to stay!!!
We had an amazing time staying at your place last week. First of all, your communication with us was the best and so easy to work with. The house is gorgeous, very clean, great location, very cute neighborhood, walking distance to so much, spacious, and has great outdoor (comfortable) furniture to sit at both on front and back porch and we loved that! The town was a great size with lots of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. The Surf Hotel is just down the street and we walked down there one night late for a drink and the bar was so spacious and nice and we felt so safe. I would definitely come back and stay and recommend your home and town to others. The weather, the Aspens and the fall foliage made it the perfect time of the year to be there. We hope to see you again!!

Great Family Gathering House

Family Wedding
We all had a great time in Buena Vista Colorado. The home is beautiful, it had everything we needed for our week stay. My niece got married at the Surf Hotel which we could walk to from the house. The scenery is amazing all around the area . My grandson loved that he could ride one of the bikes in the shed. He would take his fishing rod and head to the Arkansas river on the bike. The shops in the village were very close and about a 10 minute walk. We found lots to do in the area and would highly recommend this home. We made some great memories with our family all together!

Daughters wedding weekend
Stayed here for my daughters wedding weekend in Buena Vista. Wonderful location which was close to all the shops and restaurants and local attractions. We had plenty of room for our family and everyone was able to have their own space which was a big plus. Would highly recommend this house.

Our daughter had her wedding reception at the Surf and this property was perfect for us to welcome out of town guests. The beautiful craftsman archetecture was great for photographs, the closed in back yard was a lovely place to relax! The host is very reaponsive. We will return! Surf Hotel Wedding
Your lovely home was a two minute walk from our venue. Friends & family stopped by to visit on the spacious front porch & the relive the beautiful wedding in your private backyard. Well maintained beautiful home that served our 3 generation family vacation well. Plenty of space both inside and outside of the home. Large accommodating kitchen and appliances. Walking distance from parks, hiking, dining, shops - we spent many additional hours outside enjoying BV each day when compared to other locations we have stayed in the area. Highly recommended home.

Summer family adventure
This is a wonderful house that was ideally located on South Main Street in Buena Vista. The house was spacious enough for our six adults and two child family. It was a great staging place for hiking, rafting, and Browns Canyon Adventure Park close by. Jeffrey was very responsive to texts when we have questions about the house. The back yard and front porch were our favorite happy hour locations. We highly recommend this property and would definitely rebook for future stays in Buena Vista.

Pros and Cons
Overall--a great house, but I don't give 5 stars unless they really impress me. Here's the breakdown. Pros - great house in great location. Super easy walking access to restaurants in South Main and the river activities. Cute, fenced, back yard that is nice for socializing. Open floor plan that is fun for having people over. Owner was fantastic communicating within minutes usually if there was any issues. Cons - My main complaint was this was kind of a strange setup for a big home. The Master bedroom has its own bathroom. Great. But the 2 bedrooms on main (1st) level share the bathroom in the hallway that does not have a shower. The two additional bedrooms upstairs share the second bath with a shower. So literally 4 bedrooms share 1 shower and it's upstairs. 2nd queen bedroom upstairs is a futon mattress. Not comfortable unless you like futons. None of the rooms have blackout curtains so you if you like to make it dark, you are out of luck. No screens on windows and during the summer you will want to open windows to cool it off. Overall: great house just a few minor things.

Our entire family and mother-in-law came to Buena Vista for our sons wedding . It was above and beyond what we expected. Great location, beautiful home with plenty of space & a great layout, equipped with everything you could possibly need, comfortable beds. It was everything we could hope for & more! The host communication is fabulous and we would come again in a heartbeat if we have reason to visit Buena Vista!

Seven of us stayed here over Thanksgiving week. It's a spacious 5 BR home with lots of community space. We did a lot of cooking and it was pretty well equipped. Even with a house full, the house was solid and quiet and the early risers didn't wake the sleepers. I would definitely stay here again. It's a great house for a group.

Buena Vista Retreat
This lovely, comfortable home is in a great location and perfect for a family vacation. Nice front porch and outdoor area off master bedroom…. perfect places to enjoy the beautiful weather and spend time with family. It is within walking distance of the Arkansas River and several restaurants. We have stayed here for the past 3 years and hope to return next year….highly recommended.

4th of July in Buena Vista, CO
Wonderful choice for 4th of July! The location allowed us to partake in the river area festivities, as well as walk to the Main Street area for coffee at the BV Roastery, ice cream at Louie's, and riding at BV skate park. The house space was perfect for our 7 adults and two children. At the end of the day our family enjoyed the front porch and the back courtyard area. Jeffrey was a terrific host!

This was the perfect place for myself and six other men to stay for the week!
The house is a beautiful and very spacious affording several different common areas: front porch, great backyard, and living room. It doesn't get more convenient as the house is located in the heart of South Main. While the construction noise was somewhat of a nusiance, it was usually gone by the evening.

Perfect getaway
Beautiful home in a wonderful location. Even though it is located on a popular and busy street, we were never bothered by noise. Spacious bedrooms. Pack and play and booster seat were wonderful additions. Fenced in backyard. Large dining room table with fully stocked kitchen. My only complaint was the down pillows, we like something a little firmer. We had a wonderful long weekend and can not wait to go back. 5 stars for sure!

Felt like my second home!
Such a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Buena Vista! So close to my daughters wedding venue which made it convenient to transport all the needed decorations. The house is in a great location and the owner/host was very hospitable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils/pots and pans, etc. Walking distance to the river, a bouldering park for the kids, skate park, coffee shop, restaurants and downtown. Our Second Visit! Next Year We Hope to Have a Third!
This property is clean, spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and perfectly situated for a substantial gathering of adventurous family and friends. Visitors can lounge in the comfortable living room or backyard or they can walk a few hundred feet and be at the Arkansas River. It's perfect for all ages with plenty for the kids to do, including a skate park and a new bike track. We appreciated the attention to detail with hand sanitizer and counter wipes during the COVID era. Luxurious yet outdoorsy. We just love this property and its location in Buena Vista.

If I could give this property and owner more than 5 Stars I would!
This is the perfect property for a large family. Spotless. Five full bedrooms and the master suite is fantastic. The owner is great to work with. We rented this property to stay for our son's wedding and it was the perfect get away from all the "celebration." Quiet, comfortable and clean. You won't go wrong staying here.

Awesome Home for Family Getaway
We have stayed in this beautiful home multiple times as it is one of the very best VRBO homes in the South Main district of Buena Vista, CO (BV). If you're looking for outdoor adventure, BV is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. Fantastic hiking trails, white water rafting, 14ers to climb, horseback riding, and the Princeton hot springs. In addition to all of this, South Main and downtown BV offer tremendous places to eat and drink. The Surf Hotel's happy hour is amazing sitting next to the Arkansas River. Jeff, the owner of this home is just great should you need anything or have any questions. I've also stayed at Jeff's other property in South Main which is smaller but equally as nice. As always, we made fantastic family memories in this beautiful home!

Perfect for large family
My family and I had a wonderful time at your home. It is beautiful, the location couldn't be nicer, it was quiet, clean and had everything we could have asked for. Even bikes!!! I highly recommend this property for families and children. The backyard is fenced, which made it easy for us to let the kids play somewhat unattended and the front porch was equally wonderful being fenced and gated. You will thoroughly enjoy this home, the amenities and the community.
