The nickname for this hotel is "a Hidden Gem" and I have to agree. My gf and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and I enjoyed the hotel....it was quiet and relaxing. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette (stove, small fridge, microwave, etc.) which was very convenient. Also, when we arrived it had a huge bottle of potable water in a dispenser which was great and we drank it all over the 2 weeks.
The hotel is in a decent location...there's a oxxo convenience store, pharmacy, and currency exchange on the same side of Kulkulcan (sp??) Blvd. . On the other side of the street is Playa Tortugas and a ferry to Isla De Mujeres. There are three restaurants within walking distance...Krudo Bar & Grill and a couple restaurants across the street at Playa Tortugas (Bonanza Restaurant & Playa Tortugas Restaurant).
If you go to Cancun and do not want to stay in a huge, noisy all-inclusive hotel this is the place to stay...
