“This place is so cute! I’d love to stay here again. The patio was relaxing and the faux fireplace is a nice touch. Loved the upstairs bedroom and bath. Feedback for improvements: 1 dresser drawer was in need of reinforcement. I was afraid my clothes were too heavy for the bottom. More plants would be nice on the patio but that’s just me.”

“The Garden House is in a beautifully appointed property and the owner has maintained a wonderful house and garden. We enjoyed walking up and looking out from the deck halfway up the hill. We admired the stonework, landscaping and the stream flowing down into the small pond. The amenities in the Garden House were nice, bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a movie from Netflix in the living room. Very easy parking on the street. Accessible to everything you want in SD. We will stay there...

“This place is very clean and has a nice modern kitchen. Its walking distance to Balboa Park as well as to two grocery stores. Our host responded very quickly to any questions we had. It took us 10 mins to get to Coronado Island. I'd stay here again!”

“We entered the property to an overwhelming smell of mildew/mold. Property management made excuses such as it has a lived in smell and just needs to be aired out. It was so bad, we bought airspray just to make it through one night. Apparently some team came to clean the garage disposal on day 2 which seemed to be the root source of the smell. “The cottage and surrounding area were absolutely amazing! Cottage was comfortable and clean, and communication between staff and myself was fast and clear. Only issue we had was I couldn’t figure out the heat. Thankfully it wasn’t too cold. The side door also had damage on the bottom and was open to outside elements but it didn’t cause any issues. Planes do fly low overhead but the noise didn’t bother me. Overall, I will definitely be booking again in the near future. Absolutely loved my stay!”

“House could have been cleaner. There was cobwebs and dust on walls ceilings and fans. Great house otherwise. Lots to do in it including pool table, ping pong and hot tub. Great closed in yard for our dog also!! All in all we would definitely stay here again.👍👍”

Helt ok hotell
"Hotellet i sig var trevligt byggt med pool och jacuzzi. Bra parkering. Bra också med kyl och mikro samt tvättmöjligheter. Trevlig personal. Dock var städningen under all kritik; man blev svart under fötterna av den smutsiga heltäckningsmattan i rummen (vi bodde i två olika rum vid två närliggande vistelser). Dessutom förekom några små kackerlackor vid ett par tillfällen, vilket kanske är oundvikligt i södra Kalifornien?, men det kändes inte särskilt fräscht. Allt sammantaget var det emellertid ett helt ok hotell för det låga priset. Men behåll skorna på inomhus!"

"Nice, safe and clean hotel. Access to I-8, I-5, I-805. Minutes to Oldtown, Downtown and beeches. The room was very comfortable and had all we needed, A fine restaurant and bar in the hotel. Clean heated pool and a nice garden with flowers all around. I give the best recommendation."
