Även om noteringsuppgifter finns, har jag stĂ€llts frĂ„gor. JA, Caboose har ett fullt fungerande, lurat badrum, i silo intill det (se bilder och recensioner). JA, Caboose har luftkonditionering och vĂ€rme, med vĂ€rme endast i silo. JA, det finns varmt vatten pĂ„ badrummet. JA, det finns inte en men tvĂ„ HD-LCD-TV med full DirectTV-uppstĂ€llning av kanaler, tillsammans med Netflix och andra streamingtjĂ€nster. I andra affĂ€rer - högst 2 vuxna, tvĂ„ nattminimum, inga barn, inga husdjur, ingen rökning, inga rökare, inga rabatter nĂ„gonsin givits. Inga undantag nĂ„gonsin! Jag kommer inte svara om du skriver att du begĂ€r undantag. ---- Nu bra saker: VĂ„rt 1929 vintage C & O caboose ligger bara en kilometer frĂ„n den fantastiska Lake Burton, och har nyligen genomgĂ„tt en restaurering och uppgradering frĂ„n botten till botten med nyanser av lyxiga Pullman-bilar frĂ„n tidigare Ă„r. Ingen detaljer ignorerades för att möjliggöra en verkligt unik resa upplevelse. (Bildligt uttryck. Unique Experience

We really enjoyed our stay in the historic caboose. Although small, we had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Jim has thought of everything you need. The separate bathroom was cute and very functional, as well as only a few steps from the back door. If you are looking for an unique experience, this is a must stay!

Unique and Fun

Everything about our weekend was great. Jim was very helpful and put a lot of thought into every aspect of the caboose. We took advantage of almost every amenity provided. Even though it was almost freezing outside, it was very warm in the caboose, and the restroom came with a heater as well. Our favorite part was the breakfast nook. It takes some dexterity to get up there, but the view was beautiful. This is the perfect place for a couple to comfortably enjoy the mountains of North Georgia.

Wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay in this historic caboose! We selected this property for the local scenery and ended up more than delighted with the accommodations. Jim, our host, has seen to every detail and takes great pride in keeping this unique location in pristine condition. He has attended to every detail which made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommended!

As cozy as it gets!!!

Can't say enough about the caboose and Jim! The Caboose was such a great experience. It's beyond cozy and accommodating. I'm not a train enthusiast, but was blown away by all the cool memorabilia that was in it. Main Street is only a 5min drive away. Jim is the best. Great host!! Make sure to check out his shop next door.

We really enjoyed staying in the caboose. Jim was an awesome host. The place was very clean and very unique. It was definitely an experience. You can learn a lot of stuff by just walking in to the place and looking at all the unique stuff on the walls, Jim was very knowledgeable of a lot of things as well and it was awesome Howell they turned a silo into the bathroom. Anything you would need Jim would go out of his way for you. Definitely something everyone should try

Incredible stay and wonderful host

My husband loves trains so I had to bring him here for our 30th anniversary. Jim was the most amazing host and made sure our stay was a special and memorable one. The attention to detail is remarkable. The entire place was immaculate. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator provided. The location is great and we so enjoyed shopping in the antique store on the property. We purchased some special items to remember our stay. This was such a fun experience and we look forward to returning in the future. I cannot recommend this beautiful place and host more.

Incredible experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic caboose! It’s so well-appointed throughout with perfectly chosen train-related antiques and all the creature comforts. The silo bathroom is especially cool—so creative, eclectic, and functional. Jim, your wonderful host, set us up with a roaring fire in the fire pit and shared great conversation. We highly recommend this opportunity to stay in a unique piece of history!

Awesome little gem. Lots of cool vintage train stuff to look at all over the place. In evening very quit and peaceful. Gives you a really good feel if you were looking to live in a tiny house.

Loved the "quirky" caboose

Not your usual hum-drum hotel. Why stay in a dreary room when you can stay in a caboose and bathe in a grain silo up in the mountains!? Pleasant outdoor sitting area. Close to town with good food and lovely drives. Bonus antiquing on the property. Owner super nice and very helpful. He's always around if you need anything.

First, Jim (the owner) was awesome! He was very easy to deal with and was extremely accommodating. Second, the property is amazing. Jim really spared no expense in restoring the train car and you can really tell that he paid very special attention to all the little details. You’re gonna love this place just like we did!

Unique weekend stay

Jim was excellent. The caboose was beautiful and the attention to detail was noted in every way possible. The uniqueness definitely comes at a slight cost, but it is just too cool to miss a stay at! We especially loved the cistern converted bathroom and the morning views with coffee looking out of top in the caboose

My wife and throughly enjoyed our experience! We learned way more about railroading from the memorabilia than we ever thought we would known. It was a perfect time to visit also because the leaves were in their prime. Thanks for the opportunity!

Great host, unique and pleasant caboose cabin

The host, Jim, was so helpful, starting with the check in process all the way through check out. He recommended many tips and restaurants around the Clayton area. The caboose cabin was a unique experience and if we’re ever back in the area, we will find Jim and the caboose cabin again!
