“The room was lovely and well stocked with drinks and small snacks. As well as a plate of fresh fruit and champagne for being an Expedia gold member. The mattress and pillows were super comfy. The biggest perks were the staff and the property. Everyone was so helpful and kind and the entire place was absolutely pristine. “Definitely not five star. Room was beat up, balcony door didn't lock, closet didn't stay closed, patio furniture was filthy (rust stains). Food was weak, lobby worn out, loud pool music 12 hours a day - don't get a seaview unless you don't care about noise. We couldn't take it and left early and got no sympathy, got hit real hard by $1000+ in cancellation fees. Seems like hotel has an identify crisis, way too far from the action to be a decent party hotel, yet luxury is lacking, price too...
