“Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...

“Good location clean. Pool not cleaned in the off season but that’s ok”

“Great location, right off the highway. Close to many attractions. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of major work and updating. The mattress was lumpy, towels were very rough and old, rug was dirty in the room and in the hallway. The side door to enter the building was unsecured and could be opened without a key. Front staff was pleasant and friendly.”

“Room was musty smelling and the ceiling was cracked and peeling from water damage, even the lamp shades had water stains on them. Linens smelled musty and some had stains. The front of building appears deserted and hotel is around back with poor signage and outer look shows a lot of neglect.”

“Shower curtían was moldy, the room had a door to another room and I was alone. The door to the room was hard to open and close and made a loud sound. At least front desk staff was so friendly ”

“It's affordable for a reason. There are pretty questionable people staying there and it seems like they also serve as a shelter. Beds are comfortable though and it was quiet.”

“The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. The curtains on the window were a solid panel so you couldn't really open them. I slid them aside. Fun fact: the metal box the mattress sits on makes a cool...
