"The hotel is nice and the front desk people is super helpful.
The restaurant service is awful and their prices are ridiculously expensive. Very bad value for money. Rooms are clean, the furniture is a bit outdated but fit for purpose. Pool ok, the private beach is not clean, trash and rubble. You will be ripped off with the rent of the golf carts."
"The location is amazing and the beach is so beautiful. The area on the beach is very paradise like.
However one big issue during the whole stay was the loud music - both in the beach area and around the room (we had a jungle room). The music in the beach area is unnecessarily loud making it hard to talk and even read something. The music itself was good but why so loud? The music was an issue again in the room as there was a restaurant just next to it playing extremely loud music until 23:30 during the weekend. Thereâs a gap in the door which makes the music leak in and you can feel the bass in the room.
Another minus is the service both at the reception and in the beach/bar area. In general very slow and not so attentive.
Worth noting is also that there is a bathtub in the room but thereâs not enough water to fill it - after filled about 25% the water stopped running. "

"Our recent stay at Wyndham Alltra Cancun was unfortunately quite disappointing, especially considering the high expectations we had based on its advertised family-friendly facilities. The main reason we chose this hotel was for its water park and waterslides, which we thought would be perfect for our children. However, these facilities were closed for 90% of our stay. Given that this was the highlight for us when booking, it was a major letdown and affected the entire experience.
We also had high hopes for our honeymoon celebration. We requested a bottle of champagne to be waiting in our room upon check-in, which the staff kindly acknowledged in their email communication prior to our arrival. Sadly, the champagne was not delivered as promised, and it was only after I emailed the front desk again that we finally received itâ24 hours later. While the gesture was appreciated, the timing had already passed, and the moment was not quite the same.
The lack of attention continued at check-out, where we were not even asked how our stay had been. This was quite surprising and left a negative final impression. I have never stayed at a hotel where staff didnât show any interest in the guestâs experience upon departure.
On the plus side, the beach was beautiful, and the Italian and Mexican restaurants offered good food, but room service was dry and flavorless. While some staff were friendly, communication in english was difficult.
For us the experience was poor."
