Eremo Monte Carpegna

We had a great stay! Beautiful and very clean rooms. Very kind and helpful staff. However, I tried contacting the hotel at two different times, but no reply back. Also, all information was sent in only Italian, even after asking them about providing it in English. The breakfast was mentioned as one of their highlights. Unfortunately I can only give it one star. The eggs had a rotten taste and some of the fruit as well. The amount of breakfast that is served should definitely be downsized, so that the remainders from the day before don’t have to be used. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.

Mycket spatiöst rum med stora ytor som var perfekta för oss med tre hundar! Vänlig personal, tyst och lugnt. Helt fantastisk frukostbuffé med bär, kallskuret, ostar och juicer. Gratis parkering. Vi kommer tillbaka! 🌟

I've traveled a lot over the years and stayed in both great and not-so-great hotels. Considering the price, the spacious rooms, and the fact that breakfast was included, I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars overall. This was my first time in Rome, so I don't have much local experience to compare it with, but I thought the location was good. The hotel was about a 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station and within walking distance of the Vatican. I especially liked the neighborhood around the small square just outside the Vatican walls. We were a larger group of 11 people, and the hotel worked very well for us.
