Lovely Family Stay—Just Check on the Yard First

We had a lovely stay overall! The house was a great fit for our family and very kid-friendly. There were enough beds for everyone, and the layout of the home allowed for quiet and privacy in the bedrooms even while others were spending time in the living room. The house was well-stocked with helpful amenities and even had toys that our toddlers really enjoyed.One thing to note: the outdoor spaces didn’t quite match the description. We brought our two dogs expecting ample room for them to roam, but the usable yard space was limited. The small paved yard with the swing was a hit with the kids, but it needed sweeping before it was safe for play. The larger fenced-in backyard, unfortunately, was overgrown with tall grasses and fox-tails, making it unusable for both the kids and the dogs. If outdoor space is important to you, I recommend asking about the yard condition before booking.That said, the front yard was a nice place to relax in the evening, though it did get warm during the day due to limited shade. The goats next door were fun to watch, and the visits from the peacocks and other birds were a unique and exciting touch for the kids.In all, we had a good experience and appreciated the home’s family-friendly setup. We just wish the outdoor areas had been better maintained so we could have enjoyed them more fully.

Quick NAU student Birthday check in

We stayed at Eva's darling rental for 1 night to check in with our Freshman NAU student on her Birthday. We had a few of her friends over for a BBQ steak dinner and Bonfire. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking for 8+ ! Loads of room and comfortable seating areas to visit/catch up. We brought our family dog and the yard was perfect. We loved being next door to goats and peacocks and a little more rural. It even snowed and we had a lovely view through the large front room picture windows...Would love to stay here again for longer!!

Just okay, over priced

Old and very dated home. Kitchen ware was old and not in good condition. outside grill was dirty, we did not use it. Location not attractive. one bedroom wall electrical outlets did not work, back yard was messy and not cared for. photos and description of property was misleading; not as nice as described. Way overpriced. We have stayed in much nicer homes in Flagstaff for much less of a price. This was just an okay old place that needs many updates and upgrades; we would not return.

Wonderful stay!

We were in beautiful Flagstaff for my nephew’s wedding/family reunion. Celestina was wonderful with her communication and her willingness to work with me, accommodating my family’s needs. The home was perfect amount of space, clean, and helped create a lot of core memories.

Comfortable

Quiet home on a secluded road! Older and somewhat dated. No cooling of any kind and it was quite warm during the day. Great location with Safeway only a 1.5 miles away. Beds are comfortable! Would stay there again, but will wait til the Fall

Relaxing Getaway

We had such a fantastic stay at this gem of a home. It’s close and convenient to get to the downtown Flagstaff area but provides a peaceful getaway with pretty mountain views and a lovely yard with fire pit and bbq set up to enjoy the evenings with family. The house is so charming with everything you could need, comfortable beds, and a great common space for family. There are nearby goats, cows, horses, and birds including peacocks which the kids absolutely loved. We were able to get out and enjoy hikes and other activities during the day but the family so enjoyed coming back to such a lovely comfortable home at the the day. We will definitely be back again soon!

Magical stay at Eva’s

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was so magical to see all the wide life and Mountain View from the house. It was a nice base camp for us as we went to Grand Canyon and Antelope canyon.

Total serenity

We loved our stay here. Beautiful view and total peace. Backyard fenced patio with a beautiful apple tree was awesome. A most wonderful bonus, at least for us: The neighbors have peacocks and turkeys who come to say hello. It was wonderful. Secluded but close to the city. Celestina checked in on us and she was quickly available. Check in and check out super simple. We will absolutely return!

Great Flagstaff Rental

My family and I stayed at this house for 3 nights as we drove to some of the parks around norther Arizona. It was a great home base, and the host was very friendly and accommodating.

Wasn’t able to stay for very long

Unfortunately, a suspected propane leak cut our stay here short and upon check in found out that we were needing to vacate. The property was beautiful upon arrival and host was good about communicating.

A day in the country

I think the most amazing part is the view. The house was super clean and well kept. An older home that is cozy and definitely loved. We felt right at home. Beautiful morning sitting outside watching the sun rise. Would come back for sure.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at Eva's Family Retreat. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and the house had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked with any pots/pans, utensils, etc that you might need during your stay.

Great time away!

My husband, myself and a couple of our friends, enjoyed a nice two day getaway at this home. It was exactly what we needed. The home was spacious for the five of us and could have comfortably accommodated several more. The home also was stocked with anything you could need. Even more special was the property. It sits on two plus acres and the view out of the front window is incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit admiring the stars on a perfect chilly fall evening. This home feels secluded but close to town. It was just the healing weekend we needed. Beautiful memories were created with our friends. On a side note there’s a traditional working sauna in the home which was really cool.
