“The place was very nice and in a great location. The villa had AC in the bedroom, which was great, and it has the charm you’d expect from an old villa. That said, the bathroom (especially the showers) could use a little renovation. The restaurant on-site was really good, and the staff at check-in were very nice and welcoming. The castle was beautiful! A couple of small downsides: I thought the washer was in the unit, but it wasn’t, and the living and dining areas could use a bit more lighting....

“The place was truly amazing. If you are looking for a unique piece of history that has breathtaking views and a wow factor of staying in a 14th century castle then this is your place. I would not put it in the category of “luxurious” but it is very nice. The pool is nice, the restaurant is nice (the Asian/italian fusion place down the hill is amazing). ”

“Es war eine idyllische Schlossatmosphäre. Die Wohnungen sind dementsprechend einfach ausgestattet. Es fehlte ein Backofen und man hatte keine normalen Steckdosen, wobei man das notwendige Zubehör kaufen musste. Klimaanlage war vorhanden und man hatte trotz der vielen Wohnungen seine Privatsphäre.”

“Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, au coeur de la Toscane. L'environnement est magnifique, le lieu superbe et paisible. Les commerces et restaurants sont accessibles à 5/8minutes en voiture, mais chaque trajet est une promenade et découverte. L'appartement est très grand et agréable. La cuisine manque un petit peu d'équipement et d'un fond d'épicerie. Nous recommandons ce logement!”

“Waanzinnige locatie, echt een sprookje. Fijn zwembad omringd door groen. De tuinen zijn goed onderhouden. Er is een bar met goede, lekkere en betaalbare drankjes. Helaas gaat deze wel pas om 17:30 open. Een drankje om 15:00 als je bij het zwembad ligt is lekker. Het appartement is schoon en prima. De keuken mag echter wel wat uitgebreider: geen scherp mes, geen peper/zout/suiker/olijfolie. Ik zag een eerdere recensie die dit ook beschreef maar er is nog geen verbetering.
