The Beach:
Pompano Beach has 3 miles of lovely beachfront making it one of the most beautiful and family-friendly beaches in South Florida. There are many amenities on our beach; walking paths, picnic pagodas, fitness equipment, and the children’s playground with an interactive water fountain. Our newly developed pier with its iconic shade sails and fish-shaped pier point make enjoying the sun and outdoors enticing. The morning sunrise is never better than with a run on the beach or a yoga workout.
Dining
Pompano Beach offers a vast array of dining choices, from Zagat-rated fine dining restaurants to casual bistros and tropical beach bars directly on the beach, many featuring live entertainment and great happy hours.
There are all types of activities including water sports, sand volleyball, an interactive water fountain, playground, outdoor fitness equipment, walkways, and picnic areas, all overlooking the ocean.
*The public beach is guarded seven days a week from 9:00 am to 4:45pm and 6:45 during daylight saving time. All are very welcome.

*The Greg Norman Signature Pines Golf Course, redesigned by Greg Norman features 7119 yards, par 72, TifEagle greens, and 5 sets of tees for your golfing enjoyment. The adjacent Palms Course is over 6280 yards, par 71 and 5 sets of tees, and only a mile from the beach!
*The Pompano Beach Municipal Tennis Center located at Community Park offers 16 lighted professional clay courts.
Fishing:
Named for the Pompano, Pompano Beach has some of the world’s best sports fishing; the best topography and temperature of the Atlantic Ocean just east of the beach are the perfect habitat for many sport fish. No fishing license required.
Water Adventures:
Pompano Beach has water adventures galore, for both the young and young at heart; from kayaking, jet skiing, boating to luxury dinner cruises and much more.
Things to Do
Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park features live entertainment daily in a smoke-free environment. It has 38 live-action poker tables and 1,500 slot machines with 6 restaurants to choose from. It is the winter capital of Harness Racing. The Park also offers simulcasting of Harness and Thoroughbred Racing, Jai Lai Games, and Greyhound Racing from over 20 venues across North America.
The Festival Flea Market is the largest indoor flea market in the US, very popular with visitors!
Ample parking is available if you rent a car. A quick 5 minute UBER to the beach or restaurants and shopping is also a great option.
