Anniversary getaway
Wonderful place to get away for a few days with my family. Really close to Desoto and Fort Payne. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is great at this cabin. Clean, cozy and perfect all around.

Super homey
I am a bit bonkers but they really worked with us! The house was better than I felt the pictures depicted! Very clean! We had an incident with my 4 year old pressing on a window pane (looking at the snow) and it fell out and they had a temp fix on it before we got back from our outing! Manager gave us some great outing recommendations, super nice and helpful! The kitchen was well supplied which made cooking there super easy too! Thank you for the stay!

Clean and Easy access for Little River Canyon
Our family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 elementary age children stayed for 2 nights while visiting Little River Canyon. Everything was clean and orderly. Easy drive to the middle of the canyon.

Hidden gem
We ride motorcycles and the Fort Payne area is a great little getaway. The scenery is beautiful, lots of attractions in the area. The Rock House is in a nice area that puts you close to Fort Payne, Little River Canyon Nature Preserve, and Desoto State Park, just to name a few attractions. The house is an older type farm house, the amenities are excellent, the property owner is very friendly and kind. We will for sure stay again!

Beautiful Rock House
The inside is beautiful and outside needs some TLC. If you are staying here for a fishing tournament, please do not allow google maps to direct to leesburg landing via county roads. The terrain is rough and difficult with a boat.

It was raining and cold outside but it’s a great place to relax...availability to accommodate several folks was something that caught my attention immediately. Great central location to explore the parks and scenery.

Wonderful place
This was a lovely house in a great location. The fire pit was awesome as was the fire place in the house. The only thing was there was no wifi; it didn't make our trip any worse but I would've brought a hot spot if I'd known. Highly recommend.

Great getaway
We enjoyed a few nights at the rock house while visiting the nearby water falls. We had a few issues, but the owners were very nice and quick to respond and resolve them. It’s a great value for a group.

Perfect!!!
The Rock House was about as perfect as a stay can get. The kids stayed in bunks like camp growing up, and we all had a great time playing games and just being together as a family. The Rock House is located closed to the Mentone area, as well as Desoto Falls as well as a 10 minute ride to Ft. Payne when needed. We have already begun to plan to go back next year, and if our schedules allow us to do that, the Rock House is where we want to stay. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful weekend.

House was clean and everything functional. Fully stocked kitchen with clean dishes, pots and pans. The only issue was no internet and T-mobile service was spotty inside the house, but OK outside. Just something to keep in mind.

Family Fun
The Rock house had lots of room for the 5 of us, I personally would have like a second bedroom without bunks but I realize they are great for a crowd. Need air conditioning in the master bedroom but he brought us an additional fan & once the house got cooled off we were ok. House is much older but that gave it charm The Volleyball court outside was a hit as well Owner was super nice !! Overall we had a very good experience for our first renal through VRBO

The Rock House Stay
If you have a large group of people and you want separate bedrooms this is not for you, however it work fine for our group. One bathroom is not accessible from inside the house, you enter from the carport, but our group made out OK with this as well. We were there to ride motorcycles so not at the house much during the day.

Great place for the price.
The home was very clean, certainly above average. Certainly a nice place to stay considering the price. The outside could have used some upkeep, as far as the grass needing mowing. Also, this may not be an issue for some, but being from the Deep South, central year and air have become necessities. Coming in from a long day of hiking with nothing more than a window unit to cool the house was an inconvenience. With that being said, if someone is looking for an affordable place to stay with several people, then this is a great option.

Rock House
The house was clean and we had plenty of room to park our boats under the car port and charge out batteries. The neighborhood has nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay while fishing Weiss Lake.

Very clean warm and inviting.
We loved this little house, it's perfect for a weekend get-a-way. The outside bathroom for cleanup before entering the house was great. The large jet tub inside the main bathroom was very relaxing. There was plenty of sitting room (we had 10 people) to enjoy everyone's company and the kitchen was perfect for our menu (we did soups). We did not use the fire-pit outside but did use the fireplace in the house for a fun evening of smores. The kids loved the volleyball court outside, both for volleyball and just playing in the sand.

Only a short distance from beautiful hikes
We were very pleased with the overall accommodations. We were from out of state and attended a funeral in a nearby small community. It was great that family was able to be in one location. One downfall was that the roll up shades were not able to prevent the lights from a nearby business coming in throughout the night. These shades allowed too much light at night into the bedroom. Despite the unfortunate nature of the gathering, I prefer a house instead of multiple hotel rooms for us to be together.

So sorry for that, That must have been in the large room. If you had an issue with it we could have supplied you with a different shade to cover it if needed. We will check it out and may just replace it to be sure future guest do not experience the same thing. Thank You for your stay
