“This is a lovely unit, well appointed and well decorated. The kitchen has everything you need for basic meal prep. Plenty of linens, the beds are comfy. There is a little trail behind to row that comes out right across from mini-golf. Our grandkids loved all of the amenities of the lodge, and the cost to use those facilities was reasonable. "Good location down town Chicago. Good for family with kids with a decent breakfast included in the price. Busy breakfast area though. Crowded and hectic. The inner open yard sounds like a swimmingpool hall. Bed sofa not very comfortable. "

The room is like all other chain hotel, it´s like all hotel called the same designer and ordered the same furniture, carpet, bathroom setup. So un-personal and boring. Wifi was ok but not high-speed.
The resort fee is a ridiculous scam that to many hotels charge. Things that other hotels include in the room price but mostly in the US is an add on. However, Swissotel actually gave credit that could be used for breakfast and dry cleaning so the 25+tax could be used in some ways.
The automatic elevators was a big plus, waiting time short and effective use of the elevators, more hotels should have this setup"
"As a swede, my opinon is that hotels in US can differ so much in quality, but this hotel is really a gem! Very clean, fresh and a great feeling everywhere. Friendly staff, great gym and in general a high quality experience. We booked with breakfast, and the breakfast is worth its price. Overall, a really great experience!"
